Across all competitions, going back to and including the game away at Sutton United on 3 February:
Played 27
Won 19
Drawn 4
Lost 4
Win percentage 70pc
What a time to be alive. Super Grant McCann.

Wow didn't realise it was that decent

Began courtesy of a Joe Ironside Penalty - and lo and behold another tonight. He is a legend.

Not yet my friend but definitely a cult hero.

That’s some form.

Come on Rovers

think up there with the best penalty takers we have had, another quality one last night (2 keepers wasn’t saving that)

That was a shocker of a game v Sutton. But what a turnaround in form.
Strange really , Anderson got clattered at Fleetwood by our keeper and we went on possibly one of the worst runs ever.
Sutton keeper comes out flattens Joe for no reason ant all and kicks off what’s must be up there with our best runs.

And have we scored in each game?

All except Crewe at home (play-offs) and Everton.

If you look just at the regular season league games since and including Sutton United, it looks even more impressive:
Played 23
Won 17
Drawn 4
Lost 2
Win percentage of 74pc.
On a ppg basis over a 46 game season this form would deliver us 110 points and we would break the all-time record for a three point win, 46 game season of 106 points (Reading 2005/6 in the Championship).

That's really impressive. I know it's not a true half-season, but 55 points from half a season's worth of games is phenomenal. Pisses all over the 48 points that Moore's side gained in the first half of 20/21 and that itself was superb.

Last 17 league matches is almost beyond belief
P17 W15 D1 L1 F38 A13 Pts46 (out of 51)
Over a full season that would equate to 124 points and a GD of +68.
Keep this sort of form rolling and McCann is in line for Official Legendary Status.

Does anyone know if we've ever had a better run of 17 games?
-
Don't think those numbers are exactly right, we seem to have gained a win from somewhere?

Sorry you're right. Should be:
P16 W14 D1 L1 F38 A13 Pts43 (out of 48)

still mega impressive

Best in my lifetime. I never ever thought I'd see a run better than the one Dutch refers to under Penney in autumn 2003.
First half yesterday reminded me of that team. The way Sharp, Gibson, Bailey and Clifton were pressing like a pack of hyenas. Just like McIndoe, Blundell, Green and Ravenhill used to do.

Does anyone know if we've ever had a better run of 17 games?
In 1946-47 our best runs were:
P16 W13 D3 L0 which equals current run at 2 point per game which it was at the time, but inferior at 3 per game.
P18 W15 D2 L1
In both cases, the games immediately before and after were lost
Imagine having two separate runs like that in the same season
Edit: By the way it speaks volumes of our current form that we are even looking at 1946-47 for comparisons
-
Arent we two games in to a so called tricky patch of games?
-
Is it 11 straight home league wins since the 1-5 loss to Stockport? (Not counting the playoff game)
-
Yes, equalled the all time record... And as grant says, it's not the record tho is it? And that's why he's so good....
