What a player he was for us.
The 5-2 win at Brizzle was stuff of dreams. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_div_1/8544016.stm
-
Now glad we didn’t re-sign him

"What a player he was for us"...when he turned up and turned a display in. Far too rare. Another wasted talent.
-
Always knew he would go high.
-
He should have stayed with us. I always knew he'd go to pot otherwise.
-
We did well to weed him out if this is what he's up to!

Maybe thats what stopped him from been a top, top player.
But he was excellent for us.
-
It came as a blow when he left us.
-
I bet he feels a bit of a dope now.
-
I bet he thought he was going to be the next Diego Marajuana
-
And some on here said he couldn't get any higher
-
He'd fit fit in well with our management team - Grant McCannabis and Spliff Byrne.
-
One of our senior players could take him under their wing, maybe Tom Ganjason would fit the bill.
-
Obviously didn’t make enough playing then :headbang:
-
Do the crime, expect to do some time
-
Man took “back on the grass” to a whole new level.
-
If he reads this he will resint his time here
-
He denies any involvement whatsoever.

I always said he was rizila-lent as a player and could roll a full back with ease
-
He’s made a hash of this one.
-
Well he won’t go to prison if found guilty as apparently there are no places available.
-
If it’s true he wants his head smacking.
-
He'll end up at somewhere like Skunkthorpe.
-
Could have all been so different if he’d joint us on a permanent deal.
-

More likely Wormweed Scrubs!
-
Had his contract terminated by Greenock morton

Very talented but too many half-baked performances stopped him becoming the cream of the crop
-
He was worth his weight in grams.
-
Shouldn't this be in the ex-players thread?
We get a bollocking for posting when Alfie May scores.
-
Part of his problem, aledgedly, was that he didn’t get on well with the players in the dressing room because his farts smelled like a skunk.
-
Going down is my guess

What a wasted talent ! The time he’s been in the game, he should have had enough sense to look after his brass and not to have to get involved in get rich quick schemes such as drugs !
-
Going down for a long stretch.
-
He denies any involvement whatsoever.

no skin up in the game?

Jet uses jet. Oh the irony

What may seem to some to be a sad case in first light simply isn’t. I remember him here in SOD’s side. He was clearly a very gifted footballer.
If he’d applied himself half as much on the football pitch as he has clearly done as a persistent drug smuggler & distributor, the world would have been his oyster. Why he didn’t only he knows. He’ll certainly have plenty of time behind bars to contemplate.
Stupid, stupid man.
-
He is a fool, falling into the greed trap. Maybe with a bit of jail time he might consider his mistakes and look at what is important.
-
4 years in prison.
-
Scored a great goal for us, I think in the first season at the new stadium too. It was the reaction just as much as the goal - there was an audible gasp from both the Derby ( think it was Derby?) fans and us before the huge cheer?
Sheer power and placement. A huge talent, but looked to be lazy - and that could be just how he looked. I am unsure if he ever reached his true potential.
-
So, how many jailbirds have played for us over the years?
-
Jamie Lawrence and Mike Norbury
-
So, how many jailbirds have played for us over the years?
Old pineapple head Jamie Lawrence for one,Burglary if I remember right
Mickey Norbury Attacking his then girlfriend? Possibly manslaughter
Colin Sutherland was arrested and remanded when Accused of Attempted murder, but I don't the outcome of his case
Niall Mason suspended sentence, bet he felt a right tit!

It was Derby, mate. We won 2-1. "Wurzel Gummidge" Robbie Savage played for them that day.

Was Jimmy Kelly an ex con?

Is that the one when Savage scored a free-kick? It was the only way he was going to score,we was so good at that time.

We've even had a benefactor :turd: who turned into a jailbird :suicide:

Just been released from prison after severing just 10 months of a 4 year sentence

Would be hilarious. Just about the worst walking advert for Pass Logistics possible
Redo the kit launch but the police have pulled JET’s suspicious smelling lorry over on the M18 and he doesn’t make it
-

A good case study on how broken the criminal justice system is.
-
Has signed for AFC Toton
-
AFC Totton. Just promoted to National League South. James Beattie is the Director of Football and Charlie Austin plays for them.
-
Some protests going on darn surf about this.
Hasn't the world changed.... It used to be your time in prison expiated the crime you had committed and you were welcomed back into society to lead a relatively normal life. If you didn't, back into quod you'd go. Now, I don't mean to understate the level of the crime JET committed, but importing cannabis isn't in the same league as importing heroin, exporting guns or murdering Gazans yet apparently JET should be condemned to purdah for the rest of his life. That's about the only way to guarantee he'll become a lifelong criminal. What other option would he have?

Did Martin Alesenoye (sorry for spelling) get into bother mid 70’s
-
Pinching out of the chaining rooms, that was the rumour I heard a few years after he had left .
There was a rumour about Ronnie Robinson, also Alan Blayney left under a cloud or perhaps was he driven away
-
There was a car parked on sainsburys roundabout for days and that was supposed to be Ronnie Robinsons after he's left us
-
I heard something else about a parked car in a different location
