Aldi have their Oktoberfest range in.
The Erdinger Oktoberfest wiessbier is particularly good. Not the standard Erdinger. It's got a bright blue label and a illustration of Helmut and Heidi looking very pleased because it's October. There are a few beers in their not normally available in the UK, look for the brewed in Bavaria stamp.
Two quid is a decent price too, only available in October.

Just had a case of Spaten Oktoberfest from Beerhunter delivered :)
-
I noticed Spaten is one of the brands Aldi have in at the moment. Not sure if it's an October special edition though.

Have you tried Pivovar at Elvington and how did it compare
https://www.pivovarorders.co.uk/
I got a box delivered once and superbly packaged and beer brilliant of course but better still my neighbour often Pike fishes the Derwent alongside their Warehouse
I looked for Weihenstephaner Kristall Weissbeer on Beerhunter but what is Delivery cost pls

Just called at Aldi and misread the shelf label as Erdinger Octoberfest 13.99 and there were 12 in the Case
Unfortunately it was referring to Brewdog Octoberfest
Unfortunately the Paulaner offer had finished but still worth 2.49
Erdinger @ 1.99 though

I got a mixed case of 12x330 mL. Belgian and Trappist beers plus a free glass for about £52 from Beerhunter. I did pay £7.99 for next day delivery via DPD. I think the beers were £43.95 John.
I’ll be supping them at a family get away this weekend.
I think there were three different prices for delivery depending how quick you wanted them. They were very well packaged and it made me laugh on the box it said fragile, glass, handle with care, Don’t waste beer.

No problem . Seems to be a "thing" this year as I've not noticed it being as pronounced as this before
Was a "thing" in Sheffield and the Beer Stall was stocking several
I did find unrelated to Octoberfest the Weihenstephaner Kristall Weissbeer for a "how much" price of 3.95 so I bought one (1) yes one and will enjoy tonight when ironically 3 neighbours and I get together to drink my home brew lol

Just enjoying the Benefiktiner Hell, tried the Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier the other night
Both well worth the £2.49 from Aldi.
The Edinger Oktoberfest seems to have sold out already at our local branch.
-
I drunk both my EOs last night then 1 PO and neighbour brought a BH
The Erdinger was the better imho

The best Oktoberfest beer (and the best German beer in general) is Augustiner Helles. Different level

Well I just happened to have had a case of Augustiner Helles delivered from Beerhunter last Saturday. Sadly for my liver I'm making short work of it
