Title: Where was Hurst yesterday?
Post by: Butchers Red on October 06, 2024, 11:09:34 am
Not even on the Bench?

Admittedly he divides opinions, I'm a fan of his and feel he has so much more to offer than Sbarra in the No 10 role, and of course can play a wider role also, I hope the lad get's a run soon.

Was doing some running on the pitch at the end. Can’t believe we’re picking Yeboah over him. Let’s develop our own players over loanees!

I did not see the original bench before Olowu was withdrawn : was he not on that either ?

I didn’t see it either but surely wouldn’t have been. Olowu’s injury meant a start for Broadbent which would have freed up a spot on the bench rather than taking one away. I don’t think a late injury allows you to make any further changes beyond the replacement for that player, either

No he wasn't on that team sheet either, when Joe pulled up they replaced him with Emmanuel ( who had a decent game when he came on )

This was the original 18. As Butchers Red says, Emmanuel took Broadbent’s place on the bench.

When Yeboah starts playing like Adelakun I’ll give you that. Right now, what has he done to get a place on the bench over Hurst?

I'd be worried if Molyneux got a serious injury. Neither are going to get you promoted

Let’s just pick the team the manger thinks has the best chance of winning the football match!
