I just wanted to take a moment to recognise how incredible Cliff Byrne and Grant McCann are as a management duo.
Their decision to take on the challenge of running 10k every day throughout October to raise money in the fight against Prostate Cancer is truly inspirational. It's not just about their commitment on the first team but their dedication to making a difference off it as well.
We are extremely lucky to have these two as an example for all our players and fans. Their hard work, resilience, and leadership shine through in everything they do, and this challenge is a testament to that.
It's a reminder of how football can make a real impact beyond the game, and it's great to see them leading the charge for such an important cause.
Let's all get behind them and show our support!

A friend of mine is also doing something for this, but either running, walking or cycling certain distances every day through October and the money he raises is being added to the Club Doncaster total.
-
Currently there are 64 of us signed up to the Prostate United Challenge under the Rovers banner and we are currently at the Top of the League for raising funds to help defeat this disease, 1 in 8 men will get Prostate Cancer and 1 man dies every 45 minutes. Please Guys if you have any of the symptoms get yourself checked it could save your life, sadly it was too late for my Dad.

Just to promote support for this important cause.

I am taking part in this, this year. Not quite the 10k but I am running 5k every day this month to raise money for Prostate United. I have currently raised £720 with my target set at the start for £775 (£5 for every Kilometre that I will run in total). If anyone can donate or just wants to check out my donation page the link is https://prostateunited.prostatecanceruk.org/fundraising/harry-swains-5k-a-day-for-prostate-united
Appreciate all donations to keep me motivated to the finish line. Today was day 17 and we have 14 more days to go.
-
Today has seen The Doncaster Rovers Prostate United team break through £24k raised, we are no entering the final week and would welcome any donations for this great cause.
I am aiming to hit my £500 target currently on £425 so if any fellow Rovers supporters would like to help here is the Link to my page. https://prostateunited.prostatecanceruk.org/fundraising/mark-bell2024.

A huge "well done" to all you guys taking part.
