These types of areas will always produce hungry, motivated people.

When you come from some of the more deprived areas of the borough you need to have that extra 10% to enable you to kick on in life.

Its not incidental that quite a few good boxing prospects are now starting to come out of Doncaster Metropolitan borough area.

If you can't make it academically then athletically will do just fine!

I believe the youngest Rotherham player changed last week. My son's mate's brother (tenuous enough?), Harrison Duncan made his debut for them in the Papa John's trophy against Newcastle.

Just double-checked before hitting post and I stand corrected, he missed Eley's record by a couple of months.

I also stand corrected. Apparently Alan Sunderland was from Conisbrough, the f***ing b*****d

Saw him score a belter at the old Molineux once upon a time - in his pre Arsenal days too. But if he's from bloody Conisbrough, well, I'll just have to forget about it won't I...?

PS. Later. Thinking about that, I have a feeling Sammy Chung was manager of Wolves at the time
