Evening folks! Forecasts for tonight??
-
90% of their goals is out injured..,Mr cheek
.
-
A good night for Rovers and a 4 - 0 win. Joe and Billy both to score.
-
The mike is till not switched on with 4 minutes to kick off......again.
-
Nice to see Maxwell back
-
We’re playing a team of giants!
-
We’re playing a team of giants!
Goalies the smallest....
-
Lively start
-
We’ve missed Maxwell. Lovely move started by him there
-
Unlucky not to be ahead. Good start for us
-
The ref is the son of Trevor Kettle! I hope he isn't like his dad!
-
0-1 :(
-
F**k. Should have been 2 up
-
Ffs
-
Air shot bounces nicely for him to fire home. Jammy
-
Might wake us up a bit :scarf:
-
Were not gonna score today I can tell
-

Really rate Maxwell but he gifted possession away on the halfway line when they went on to win the corner.
-
Off the line again
Bromley keeper is decent
-
Bromley keeper is having a blinder
-
We could do with a goal before half time otherwise this will be a struggle
-
Might wake us up a bit :scarf:
Keep saying it, we're bound to score then!
-
Bromley are crap but we’re not good enough either. Completely wasting promising opportunities far too regularly.
-
Where has our creativity at corners gone that we had at the back end of last season?
Just hopelessly lumping it into the box
-
Bromley are an absolute joke going down at every challenge we need to score and get in front only way to stop it
Typical kettle like father
-
hope we have a significant amount of extra time from the stoppages
-
5 minutes - about the minimum acceptable
-
Maxwell is having a torrid time defensively
-
The ref needs to get a grip of this time wasting. Bromley are just out and out cheating
-
Rovers breaking and referee blows at 5 mins 10 seconds - and at least 90 seconds wasted within the extra 5 with a pretend injury :headbang:
-
This could be a frustrating 2nd half coming up. Would love to turn this around so we can time waste at the end!
-
I've never seen a team time waste from 11 minutes before
-
Our crossing is very poor, from corners and open play.
-
TBF, they are there for the taking - just need a bit of urgency and then composure. We totally bossed the first 20 mins and then fell into their game.... was a bit shite
-
Disappointing that we can’t hit the net despite multiple corners and shot opportunities and they manage to find it with their first corner. We need more nous and more balls to win this.
-
Maxwell is having a very poor game.
We’re missing someone to control the midfield as well.
-
We seem to be playing into their hands. They are winning the high punts we are putting in. Their tactics are shocking let’s hope to see a difference second half and the ref takes a firm hand.
-
Some big units in that Bromley side!
-
I doubt whether McCann expected them to play such attacking football, but he gets his chance to show his managerial skill now in possibly changing a few things in the second half.
To be fair, I think Bromley have had a fair bit of luck in their defending. Surely they can’t hold out for another 45 minutes.
-
Get Billy on instead of Joe, bring Hurst on instead of Clifton.
-
I think we need Billy and Joe
-
Billy on to support Joe?
-
Think we need to change soon
-
We aint gonna get back into this by crossing into the bix for headers. They tower over us
-
Another good save from their keeper
-
That looked like hand ball
-
17 shots, 6 on target. Surely this will eventually pay off.
-
Come on Billy!!
-
How lucky was that - bounced off their defender into hands of out of position keeper
-
We just need a bit of luck
-
This ref is very generous
-
Just realised Sbarra’s not on the bench. If he’s not considered an option against a side who were always going to be packing the defence then I can’t see him having a future here.
-
If they score from this corner!
-
Playing the giants.wonder why we don’t win the headers?
-
Tough one that....
-
This ref is very generous
Who to… us or them?
-

A game where some creativity is needed and we leave him out. Persevere with the play it wide and cross tactics
-
I think I’ll settle for a point!!
-
yet another kind bounce for them from Yeboah charge down
-
Jammy feckers
-
Game over, all but. We are going to get in trouble unless Rovers get the shooting boots on again.
-
It’s painful isn’t it being a rovers fan!!
-
5 minutes extra time is about 10 too few, mind you still struggling to shoot on target
-
How will we do at Valley Parade.....?
-
Play like this then lose
-
Play like this then lose
I’d like to think that if we have 22 shots again, some will go in.!
-
Ffs, are we just not good enough?
-
Have to be much better at times were so predicable
-
You can’t fault the effort and we deserved at least a point but it’s the complete lack of guile that makes it painful to watch and why both Bromley and Harrogate have coped pretty comfortably. We still haven’t got the midfield right and desperately need a quality loan in January.

A lot of those were shots from either just or well outside the box. We didn’t create much in the way of quality chances today.
-
That puts a big puncture in our hopes for Saturday. Bradford will not be as ineffectual as Bromley were tonight, and if we can't score from open play we are sunk, because their performance from corners/free kicks is dreadful
-
Ffs, are we just not good enough?
No we're not.
-
Utterly dominant and some good play but until we manage to put teams to the sword as a result of that dominance we will not be challenging at the top as Grant eludes to.
Would have liked to see Billy and Joe together again in this game.
-

Like the idea of let's keep chipping the ball into the box against a team of 7 foot giants, or molys low corner to the foot of the 1st defender
Only players to come out of the game with any credit in Olowu, McGrath and Kelly
And 1 up front at home is a terrible tactic
-
Tbf I thought Hurst looked bright
-
That could easily have been 4 - 1
Not our best performance but we’ve played worse than that this season and won.
Just one of those nights
-

Cmon on dickos, how could it have been 4-1. We didnt really look like putting them away.
Same tactics all game of going wide and chipping into the box which they will be laughing at us for that, played into their hands.
We had zero creativity.
Bromley will be down there at the end of the season. An absolute dire result
-
I disagree
We should’ve been at least two up by the time they scored!
And in the second half we missed two or three chances that we should be putting away
-

Could just as easily been 0-3. The chances where their lad blazed over early on and TSL’s excellent save through the crowded penalty area were better chances than anything that we created.
-
Today was a Sbarra/Hurst game from the beginning, not Clifton. McCann keeps playing Clifton when he knows we're gonna have the ball in their half and need to break them down, it's a rookie move.

The save TSL made was only equal to 3 their keeper made and he made two much better saves, one down to his right from 10 yards out was an outstanding save
So I’m not sure what game you’ve been watching
-
Sounds like McCann has lost it with them in the dressing room, question them about the final 3rd and even mentioning January in the presser afterwards

Maybe he should question why he left out sbarra.
A player he fetched in to be our creative midfielder who can unlock defences with his passing. Instead we went with the usual tactics of feeding it wide and lofting balls into the box.
When it needed a change in dynamics, there wasnt that player there. Instead he had broadbent and yeboah
