Title: Help on question rovers related

At work I was telling a story about a rovers game in what I'm guessing was about 1989 /90 and I was convinced it was Chris Powell who made his debut on loan at right back.

I can't find anything online about the team then also chris Powell seems to have never been on Donny on loan.

Can someone help me who that was.

Thanks, Good ones but definitely not, they were black and a right back or played at right back anyway.

I can remember we chanted his name and he was so surprised.

We had Clive Mendonca around that time, who also was at Charlton - think he was a forward through?

According to the Tony Bluff book Mark Rankine had a run of games at right back in 90/91 before moving into midfield- maybe it was him?

Just come across this thread,and was about to reply it was Cliff Powell not Chris,until I read WR already pointed it out,see he didn't have much of a career unfortunately.
