What’s he been up to? Has he played for anyone since he left us? When I’ve checked Hull lineup he’s not even on bench.

You'd love us to get him wouldn't you?

But in fairness bar one error TSL had a very good game today.

TSL is improving by the game but he’s not ours

Well I’m probably going against the general consensus here, but I thought he should have come for the cross that led to the goal, he knew it was coming in, the lad had a free cross, the goalscorer was the only player of theirs in a central position and on or around the 6 yard line. Their keeper had a similar situation in the second half, came for the cross got it and ended our attack

Completely agree Filo, come at that cross with his fists their lad doesn't get on it. Although he made an incredible save a minute before we scored to keep us in it, down low to his left.

I passed TLT walking out, would love him to come back. Just needs to keep his water-bottle on elastic.

Not seen a replay but thought the cross was really whipped and curling away from him.

Same here, not seen replay yet,but from memory, think it was very similar to Ironside goal at Bradford

Edit: Barnsley not Bradford oops

there goal was very well worked TSL could do nothing about it

The pace of the crosses were different.

If we had scored the Notts County goal we would be waxing lyrical about it. It was a fantastic team goal, one of the best I have seen at our level.

I meant same here as in I'd not seen the replay, not that I think he should have come out for it,I dont think he could do much better to stop it,yes it was well worked and they was very good, especially 1st half.

Think some need to remember that 60 seconds before we equalised, TSL made a superb one handed save.
He also dug use out of at least gifts we tried to give County.
He also atoned for his mis control.

For him to cut out their superb cross for their goal he’d need to be superman. The striker lost Oluwo and McGrath could only make a token challenge. It was a super goal, as was Sterry’s fabulous cross and Ironside at his bludgeoning best piles in the header.

I’d be happy to sign either keeper on a permanent deal !

TSL was superb in every aspect of his play today.
If he comes out for that cross he misses it and the forum goes in to meltdown. Come off it.
He pulled off another ridiculous long range pass out of his hands. Better distribution than TLT for sure. TLT probably a more consistent shot stopper.

Both goals were superb today.
There isn’t a chance that TSL could have got to the cross leading to their goal, it was a first class ball in played with pace.
A bit like the Biggins goal against Barrow last year and everyone was praising Tommy Rowe for the quality of the cross.
Sometimes you just have to accept that a good goal has been scored.
Jatta was really good today by the way, gave us trouble almost every time he attacked our goal.

Prime Buffon wouldn't even take that cross looking back at the replay

Actually, I'm taking back what I said. Just watched highlights and that isn't the keepers ball for me. Thought it was at the time but not now I've watched it back.

I thought he was decent again today overall. He is still improving which is good.

I would like TLT back but as a perm signing. For me that wouldn't be until end of season when we go up.

I’m glad you’ve mentioned Jatta hound. Not sure what he’s doing playing at this level. Quality first touch, awareness, finishing ability, size and strength and mobility!

TSL has a very big future ahead of him. He stands out already the same as Kelly as been Premiership standard. Happy to have both.

Absolutely in a nutshell.

Who of us had heard of either player before the start of the season?

Let’s trust in ‘those who know’ who bring these players to our club for however long their ‘stint’ with us might be. Let’s enjoy & applaud their input whilst they’re with us.

Was probably the best team goal scored at the eco power this season the build up/switch to overlapping fullback and ball in were all top level. McGrath got dragged out to the left trying to press and never really got back in to set him self for the cross. That being said as good as he is in the air that Jatta may well have put it away regardless. He looks some player at this level. 6’4 good with his feet, can shift and put it away.

TLT is no doubt realising he needs to be playing to progress yet he is down the pecking order in Hull’s multi- keeper squad .He signed a three year extension last summer so his club will probably want £250 , 000 or so for  him .So that means we need to get to FA Cup round 4 if we are thinking of such an outlay for him (or another );in January .Grant is pragmatic and unless TLT is put on the market I bet he is happy with the present incumbent .

Sends a message for me if you get someone like that in.  If he'd come to this level you go all out.  There's every change TSL may get a league 1 loan in January so it's worth considering plan b.

Apart from one big mistake he was superb today. Best all round performance I've seen from him. His long range kicking was absolutely pinpoint every time. Really impressed me today.

£250k in January please. No reflection on TSL but a very good permanent keeper would be ideal.

There's no way he was getting to that cross. It was flat, fast and curling away from him.

I doubt either of their futures will be in our hands as I'm guessing they both have ambitions to play at the highest level possible, even if we have the resources to mount bids for their services.

The best thing we can do is to achieve promotion and see if we become a more attractive proposition in the summer. It would be great to see TSL develop through the season and finish what TLT didn't.

Are there no other decent goalies who could be excellent for us should we go up.??

I don’t think anyone doubts TLT would be ideal, but he can’t be the only one, surely.??

We were saying the same, County have some player there.
