I don't think so Usher.
Each club taking part in the competition gets an initial £20,000, then £10,000 per win and £5,000 per draw in the group stage.
Then it's £20,000 for each of the winners in the round of 32 and £40,000 in the round of 16.

A pal of mine who was on the staff at Rovers told me a couple of years ago that we also get a significant amount of dosh from the PL clubs in return for allowing the U21 teams to take part in the competition.
If my memory is correct I think it was around £600,000.
Maybe someone can confirm that, or otherwise.

Hope so. But if it's a regular payment it'll be in the operating budget rather than a windfall like the Cups.
