He did well. Senior also did well when he came on. As did Sbarra.

A game too far for some! What the hell has happened with Maxwell?

I was wanting him hooked at half time ! Second half he was outstanding! Certainly shut me up, well done to the lad.

Agree with Filo, tbh surprised Maxwell even started he doesn’t look fit to me

Not looked fit since he came back. I don’t think McCann really rates Fleming otherwise surely he’d be starting. Shame Nixon is injured.

Let’s get back to Broadbent - I thought he was excellent. Long may that continue

Superb by Broadbent all game for me and you won’t see a better, more controlled, strike than the one he scored with.

I don’t think that he will ever score a better goal than that.

Not sure what game the sponsors were watching but Broadbent was outstanding today.

Who did the sponsors vote?

Ironside.

If he’d won the penalty in the last minute, he would have earned it. Ref bottled it big time.

Looks half the player he was before injury Alan, just doesn't seem right at all, that tenacious player we all know & love isn't there at the minute. Hopefully it's just lack of match fitness.

I was waiting to start clapping Broadbent for MoM. Sponsors just vote for whoever they want to meet after the game. It’s a nonsense. Ironside barely got a ripple of applause when his name was read out. Not that he was terrible, he just wasn’t MoM.

Broadbent was very good today without doubt but he was isolated too often really.

I don't understand why we play so deep at times at home and get too stretched. Maybe going back to a back four leads us to feel more 'comfortable' or maybe lazy is a better word?

Broadbent was hopeless Ist half and extremely good 2nd imo.
He was leggy and 2nd to everything in the 1st half and totally the opposite 2nd.
His 2nd half was possibly his best performance for us along with Grimsby away this season.

Guess football is all about opinions but I don't rate Broadbent, sorry. He's not got enough pace or finesse but granted it was a good goal. With Bailey and Broadbent in midfield it's like watching two pandas running through golden syrup at times. I'd put Clifton back in, higher up. I thought that was working before.

and as for Ironside MOM, he barely touched the ball.

Obviously not fit is he.

In what way?
Given Olowu ducked the shot and TSL didn’t bother making an attempt to save it

Maxwell is nowhere near fit, he’s at least two yards off it.

Broadbent is a strange one I can’t get a handle of, I think he is league 2 worthy, but would be a benchwarmer for me.

Bailey, despite a great diving header goal, he has fallen well short so far.

Senior was my MOM, he showed pace, desire and was the catalyst for the change.

Midfield is an issue for me, not the forward line- I think if we can sort the midfield it will help the forwards. We are missing the quality of close or Westbrooke on the ball.
