Why didn’t Olowu not head the shot for their goal away?

Don't know Gaz, unless he got a leave it shout...but it seems unlikely.

Lost count now of the number of times we allow a wide player to cut inside and get a shot away.
This is surely summat that needs sorting at training!

Looks like he was shaping to glance it away but the pace on it did him.

Because I assume he thought oluwu would just head it away. If that’s Anderson or McGrath both would’ve comfortably headed that away.

Because the ball had ‘whip’ on it, caught by the gusty wind, and in that split second his worry was that if he made contact with his head it might loop over the ‘keeper.

Just a thought.

He’s only human.
