Is there still a bus that runs to and from the bus station on match days?
-
Yes it's called the 56
-
This really is a fundamental service on match days especially for visiting home or away supporters trying to get back to the railway station .Taxis are not interested in going to the stadium post match ..

I raised this point a few weeks ago in the Stadium Experience thread.
Silent Majority was going to follow it up as he had done the same thing a few years back.

There’s a meeting tomorrow (Thursday) at the club and we should hear something from that.
-
The club are talking to First Group about their sponsorship of the East Stand and as part of that there will be a discussion about a bus service to and from the ground.
I've made the point that a good bus service is vital to those who rely on public transport, and is more so for away fans arriving by train. As soon as something comes out of those discussions I'll let you all know.

Thanks for the update, SM.
I presume this means there will be no bus running for tomorrow's game?
-
The normal service busses will be running, there and back, what it looks like is that a dedicated service at the end of the game won’t be laid on.

It would be nice to have a few buses on New Years Day
