Durkin averages four yellow cards per game over his career.
About normal for the modern day referee I guess.
I think this game will be the first time he has taken one of our matches.

Yes, this is James Durkin's first game in charge of Rovers. His father, Paul, was a top-flight referee and may have done Rovers early in his career.

I'll give him 1 for giving them almost everything

Tbf he was patient with Clifton and that was as good as it got

Well apart from Gibson incident where Ref was pedantic but right imo.

But largely they fall down they get foul , we fall down nothing.


Several Yellows assigned to us , some Yellows not assigned to them and I'm thinking here of the foul on Hurst right at the death.

Notice Commentator called him Chilowicz at one point but he didn't deserve that despite being a homer of the highest order
