I'm not going to the game tomorrow, but as it's not on a Saturday, is it possible to watch it?
Last season it would've been possible to do so by paying £10 and watching via iPlayer, but I haven't kept up with how the new agreement with Sky Sports works. I don't have Sky (Sports or otherwise).
Appreciate any guidance on this.

Even though it isn’t a Saturday 3pm kick off our match isn’t listed on Sky Sports as one scheduled for streaming.
Only the 12.30 kick off games are showing.
-
The Walsall game which kicked off at 15.00 was live on Sky, it’s the Saturday 15.00 kick offs they can’t show, tomorrow is Sunday

I know it’s the Saturday 3pm kick offs they can’t show, that what I said in my post above yours.

Just read on the website, audio is fine, but, restrictions prevent UK subscribers from buying a video pass. Overseas viewers can watch.
So not quite as good as IFollow which I think would have allowed a non Saturday viewing opportunity to UK based fans.

Tomorrow’s 3pm games seem to be following the blackout rule. I can’t find any explanation as to why anywhere. Very strange.

Sky say jump, the clubs say How High?
However I guess they pay the clubs money for this new deal, and in turn I guess it’s a valuable income, and seeing as according to many we need better players as we are only 3rd, we gratefully accept this situation.

The only thing I can think is that this is effectively the Saturday 3pm slot and it’s on a Sunday given where Boxing Day & New Year’s Day falls…but it’s still not a Saturday and this game would previously have been available on ifollow. Disappointing for exiles.

Just checked Rovers next match on Sky + is Fleetwood home Jan 1st

I think, stand to be corrected, the 3pm rule also applies Sundays. Hence even tomorrow's PL games at 3pm aren't live on TV. Begs the question why the all great, all hail, PL hasn't moved them to a different time as they normally do on Sundays

Tomorrows 14:30 KO over runs the 15:00 blackout

The new EFL TV deal allows all Boxing Day fixtures to be made available for viewing. We played Walsall on Boxing Day.

The blackout rule states that in the UK, no football is allowed to be broadcast on live television on any Saturday between 2.45pm and 5.15pm. With the exception of the FA Cup final (which has moved to later these days anyway).

Fire stick or nothing for me Glen but to be honest it’s looking like nothing.
-
Cheers folks... looks like I'm listening to this one.

Won't it be available to those with dodgy firesticks/Android boxes?

No. People often use the term “fire stick” when they mean a device that will get anything that’s being filmed. It won’t be on any version of Sky but anyone who has an illegal streaming device that can ordinarily show Saturday 3pm kick offs will be able to watch it.

These last few days have been odd. Not a single English professional game yesterday, and no Scottish top tier. Then today is a Sunday but games played as if Saturday blackout applied. I know it is festive season but couldn’t they have found a game or two to televise yesterday? Anything would have done.

Leicester vs Man City kicks off at 2.30 today and is being televised so there is an exception today to the usual Saturday blackout. Agree it’s very weird, though.

TBH - I'm quite glad it isn't being streamed..... saves me getting frustrated.

That’s right - but the blackout rule applies to Saturday not Sunday. Games can be screened live today over the blackout period. As one game is being screened.

Our match commentary is live on Radio Sheffield today.
As a non fire stick person I will have to listen to the radio coverage.
-
Games which kicked at 12:30 were screened but all 3 o’clock games are not being screened. Yet the two Sunday premier league games are being screened. So looks like between the premier league with the EFL and Sky have stitched up this Sunday.

How do we listen to Radio Sheffiled commentary? I can't as it's unavailable.

You probably need a radio mate.
Todays game is on FM so I am listening on a really old radio that I keep for occasions like this.
You might still be able to get it on the car radio too.

I had feeling I need to revert back to wireless/radio. I can't listen online or on my Sonos radio.Maybe I can sit in the car and pick it up :-)

I have sometimes listened in the car.
It ok on a nice day with the sun on the car but maybe not so good on a dull one like today.
