It’s a bit weird, given the only really negative stuff I’ve seen is by a few people on social media, with the vast majority still behind him and the team. Should a manager of a professional club be reacting to a small minority of comments online?

Unless he’s trying to create a siege mentality against his own fans, which is pretty hard to understand.

I could of course be wrong, but I’ve not seen anything else that wasn’t fairly balanced and accurate. Particularly when you consider that he was the one that stated winning as champions was his target.

We have an excellent manager and he has an excellent right-hand man.

Now is the time for us supporters to get behind the management and the players, to have belief in them, and to play our part in pushing on to promotion in the second half of the season.

I agree that we need to come together and I am very much still behind him and the team. I also think this is the view of the vast majority of supporters.

Thats why I find the comments strange and really unnecessary.

I truly believe on match day all supporters are behind the team & management, comments & opinions on here mean nothing, they are what they are, opinions.

Seems a bit unusual - especially for GM. It makes you wonder if he’s feeling the pressure?

It’s all a bit cryptic and strange. I can only assume it’s coming from someone inside the Club?

He’s probably just read all the shite on here!
From where we were 16 months ago when he took over to where we are now is drastically different.
He said the aim is promotion this year and we’re sat in 3rd place yet there’s so much negativity it’s untrue so I think he’s every right to have a go back

He’s not talking about supporters though, is he?

He’s talking about shaking hands with someone at the end of the season!

It's got to be a reporter that's wrote something recently that's maybe seen as stiring the pot?

He can shake hands with supporters at the end of the season can’t he?

I like most of grants interviews but today there guy wasn’t 2 yards offside it was very close with sterry playing him on and and Gibson was rightly booked for the 1st caution as he pulled him back by the shirt neck rather than a trip

Not a good sign that insistence that Thorn was 2 yards offside for their goal. Sterry was playing him a yard onside.

Edit.

Yeah ok. Seen the still. It's offside.

I think it is the player ratings in the Free press that have upset him.

Not sure what has upset him but he's due a fair share of criticism.

It's a tough game true, but his team finished last season as the best in the leaugue and only lost three players. His own stated aim is to go up as champions.

His recruitment has been terrible and performances all season have been average at best. The league table flatters us versus how we have performed (we never dominate a game) and, as SOD used to say, performances matter as much as individual results.

We are all behind him and the team but his marks out of ten this season are no more than a 5 in my opinion

Roll on January and another 10 game winning streak  :rtid:
