IMO, a Knighthood wouldn’t be amiss.

Especially in the year we lost Rob Burrow too with Kevin continuing his fantastic fundraising for MND , he's now raised £7m .
Since Rugby League was formed in 1895 when the northern club's broke and went their own way not one single Knighthood has ever been awarded to anyone from Rugby League .
I noticed the great Welsh wing of the 70's Gerald Davis was awarded a knighthood yesterday and joins many others from union fully deserving as they were .
Some of the England 1966 World Cup winning team didn't get a Knighthood but a man who never even made a World Cup final as a player or manager gets one .
Funny old system .

Recognizing and tackling these triggers allows individuals to cultivate healthier emotional coping mechanisms and decrease the risk of lashing out''

Getting back on topic then, DO, following your above comment I looked up why Kev didn’t get a Knighthood and, as you said, because he got his CBE last year he can’t be upgraded for three years after that.
Thanks for the information.
