Thanks to someone (who will remain nameless) BBut by speaking with forked tongue misled "us" that our next league match was against Morecambe, I thought I would check out "Grim Gillingham's" form
We all remember that hard earned 1-0 win at home against them and thought they would be very strong contenders for a top 3 spot or more !
They won their next three matches after our game "to nil"
Then amazingly lost the next five matches as the rot set in
in fact since winning those three consecutive matches
in their last 15 matches they have :-
won 3 -drawn 2 - lost 10
3-2-10 that's 11 points from 15 matches
and against exactly who did they get there measly three wins all 1-0
no other than Port Vale (when they were in form) and Salford both at home and Milton Keynes Away
Their American owner only gave Clemence six months in charge before sacking him. So
If they lose today Bonner will be pleading for clemency.

Game called off.
-
Just seen that - they get another chance to sack him on Saturday against Fleetwood home
-
Gone!

"Sorry Mr Bonner, we told you we needed at least a point from todays game"
"Er, but the game was called off?"
"Like I said, you failed to get a point, off you pop..."
-
Appointed John Coleman.
-
Strange appointment
-
Does not fit the mold of managers the gills normally have or style of play
-
Appointed just until the end of this season.

They appointed my namesake about an hour after showing Bonnerd the door . Nice to know at least their owner reads my posts ;)
