Ridiculous time/day for a cup tie. The cup has been devalued so much

Plus I think Everton are in a different situation with it being the last season at Goodison. They are queuing up to pay their last respects to the 'Old Lady' Plus there are waiting lists for the new stadium so I don't know if attending last nights match bumps folk up the queue.

Good points DBR.

Still, that's an excellent attendance at Goodison and a very poor show at Bramall Lane.

I can't see there being many more at Hull on Sunday, I don't think their take up has been very good.

It hasn't, saw a post from Hull fan saying how poor it was in his opinion compared to our sales, think he said only opening two stands?

Especially when you consider the current league positions of both teams in their respective divisions.

If we'd have been scheduled to play say Newport for example at 7pm last night, what would our turnout have been?

The reason these games are scheduled for Thursday (wtf) Friday, Sunday and Monday isn't for the benefit of attending fans.

Question: Is the current tv coverage across 5 days good or bad for the FA Cup?

The FA ruining the FA cup. Spreading it out over the 5 days takes away the excitement of the 3rd round.
Extra time and penalties are ok but (for example) holding Villa to a 0-0 draw to earn a replay was brilliant. It’s a chance for the minnows to mix with the big boys.
Let’s go back to Saturday 3pm with one mouth watering match up to watch on a Sunday
