Been bloody awful this season. Boring, slow, turgid, with few goals scored, most of which have been scored at the away end.
All our impressive performances this season have been away from home.

We scored more league goals & won more league games at home than away

You're talking about results; I'm talking about performances.
We won yesterday. Do you think that was a good and enjoyable performance?

I think every win is an enjoyable performance, how many times over the years have we played well and lost. I didn’t go away thinking oh well it was an enjoyable performance

Then you're wasting your money going to games, Dickos if your only measure of enjoyable is the result. Just stay home and wait for 5pm.

Football is a results business so from that aspect yes it was enjoyable. Performance wise not so good. However you have to remember that the league we are in is one where most games are an attritional battle so most of the time it is about grinding out results. We are seen as one of the most fancied teams in the division so opposition teams will always try & make it difficult for us to play expansive attacking football. As McCann has said its all about the 3 points at this stage of the season and as long as we keep racking them up I'm sure everyone including you Steve will be pleased at the end of the season.

I am hoping that it might change in the next home match against MK Dons. They usually play a more open game and we often do well against them. IMHO that will be a chance (and a big test) to see if we can be more fluent and incisive
