Scawsby Steve will be the man to help you there mate.
Edit: Just had another look at that picture grainge and did d a bit of a double take.
The player next but one to Charlie Williams (McMoran?) has quite a resemblance to Coppinger.
Is he a time traveller?

McMorran's the one at the right hand side of Ronnie Walker(Copps lookalike). As Grainge said, it's a bit strange that Bert Tindill's not in the picture.
Judging by the shirts, I think I started watching Rovers a couple of seasons later. That team was fabulous, and IMO the best team Rovers have ever had.

We must mention little Kit Lawlor also .He was a member of that team which came back from 0-3 down at halftime to beat Manchester i 4-3 at Belle Vue and a 33.000 crowd .

Bill Patterson played five years for us at Centre half before being transfered to Newcastle United for£22,500 which was a big big sum .He had a very difficult baptism in his first game at St James and had to face Man U and Tommy Taylor .His next match was easier , a friendly back at Belle Vue which attracted a big crowd and that went towards the transfer sum too as part of the deal .He was not successful at the Magpies and went to Glasgow where he was successful with Rangers .

I will leave Steve to go on about Charlie Williams , Harry Gregg and if there is anything left to say the mercurial young Alick Jeffrey.
My all time favourite is not on that photo but here are his stats .
Played 401 for Tovers scoring 126 goals ..BERT Tindill could and did play in any of the five forward positions but best at Inside Right alongside McMorran and later Alick .

And the one next to Williams looks like Ironside. Been messing with the space-time McCanntinuum.
