Title: The Virtual Museum - the Instagram account
Post by: silent majority on February 04, 2025, 03:15:46 pm
As a forerunner to the main dish, of which we are beavering away in the background, we have an Instagram account and a Bluesky account up and running.

I'm sure a lot of you would be intrigued with some of the photos, documents, programmes etc that we have published on these accounts so far. We'd appreciate it if you gave both of these a follow, plus let us know if you have anything we could add to the collection.

I've been following this on Insta for a little while now. It's really good, you get daily bite size pieces of DRFC history. Well done to whoever is going to the trouble of doing that most days.

I've got some handwritten letters from Ken Avis somewhere. from years ago. In them, if I remember correctly, he was sounding off  to me about our 'Benefactor' (the nice Mr.Richardson)

I remember the handwriting was immaculate. If I can find them would scans and / or copies be of interest ?

Yes, absolutely would. When the main site is up and running we'll have a whole section on Belle Vue.
