Adkins steps down at Tranmere,they play port vale on Saturday and Bradford soon ,hope they get a new lease of life under someone new.

He had a long career as a player over 600 games in 20 years which isn’t bad, it’s over 30 years since he played for us !! His last management job was at Port Vale , Tranmere’s opponents tomorrow.
I put Port Vale down on my 12.30 Acca before Atkins left, more than likely let me down now

Port vale gave away a suicidal goal to go 1-0 down and attempt to steal my ill gotten gains  now 1-1

I suppose that nearly all managers who have long careers finish their careers failing, some successively - what about Mark Hughes? It’s interesting to note Ian Holloway’s latest seemingly successful venture at Swindon who looked destined for the NL before he arrived.
