I'm heading to Doncaster on the train on Saturday - hopping on at Stevenage.

Anyone from London on the train for the match ?

Just curious, Philsky. I'm sure you said you live in Tring. How far is that from Stevenage, and do you drive there or catch a bus or train?

I normally drive but for family reasons I’m back and forth weekly at the moment but fancied a break from driving. Back to doncaster next Tuesday.

It’s about 35 mins from Tring to Stevenage.

In theory I’ll be home by 8pm which is roughly the same when I drive.

With my 60+ card it’s £40 return.

Hi Philsky, unfortunately am no longer in Hitchin or would have been on the Stevenage train.
Seen the light and moved to York.

Hey Dave - that's a bugger - my Stevenage train is the 11.35am from Kings Cross :-(

LNER site says "Your ticket is only valid for travel on the specific date, time and train you select when you book" - dont think i can therefore hop onto your train
