Getting nothing from this ref at the moment. At this rate we’ll be lucky to finish with 11 on the pitch.

We're lacking composure.  Silly cards - all deserved IMO - and we are playing into their hands.  Commit and press, stretch the play and pull them out of position.

Title: Re: Bromley v TLOD
Post by: Metalmicky on March 04, 2025, 08:35:11 pm
I don't think that was all bad - OK the result is not going our way, but we were more of a threat than Bromley and we have pegged them back for large parts of the game.  Just need to get the drop of the ball...
Title: Re: Bromley v TLOD
Post by: ncRover on March 04, 2025, 08:35:33 pm
Go 3 at the back

Clifton and Maxwell off for Ironside and Anderson
Title: Re: Bromley v TLOD
Post by: andyst79 on March 04, 2025, 08:35:44 pm
I'd fetch Crew on in midfield, we've been a bit unlucky. Need a bit of quality on the ball and we'll beat these

Post by: Prez on March 04, 2025, 08:35:55 pm
How on earth are we losing this??? We should be winning ffs. Playing some decent stuff, but Clifton dear me take him off Grant.
Title: Re: Bromley v TLOD
Post by: DonnyBazR0ver on March 04, 2025, 08:37:32 pm
Other than Bradford, (and us) things looking decent.

Needs us to be smart and keep things tight defensively for the first 15 of second half. Intelligence and concentration required.  The bookings might force a tactical change sooner rather than later.

Keep the faith.
Title: Re: Bromley v TLOD

Been a bit unlucky with the Run of the ball. Clifton def needs taking off.

Another night we'd be three up. A little bit unlucky and not ruthless enough. Frustrating.

I'd go two up top we are that dominant. Get Sharp on with Street.

Agree we’ve played ok and been a bit unlucky. Got to take the chances when they come in the 2nd half. We can definitely still win this
Title: Re: Bromley v TLOD
Post by: EasyforDennis on March 04, 2025, 08:43:56 pm
Crossing has been poor. 4 positive crosses from 20. Molyneux is so frustrating. How many times does he get into a good position and tries to either beat another man or pass the ball. For God's sake have a shot.
Title: Re: Bromley v TLOD
Post by: Pancho Regan on March 04, 2025, 08:45:33 pm
We were the better team in the first half.
Keep calm, keep playing, we can come back and win this.
Title: Re: Bromley v TLOD
Post by: ForsolongaRover on March 04, 2025, 08:48:41 pm
We are showing good momentum, no messing around at the back and attacking with pace. The Bromley players don’t look as big as the 11 they put out at the Ecopower. They are the side under pressure and will do well to keep their clean sheet.
Title: Re: Bromley v TLOD
Post by: Colemans Left Hook on March 04, 2025, 08:48:50 pm
Right I have just sorted it ---  i have just put £3 on Rovers to win 3-1 that's £90 I am expecting

i might cash out when it gets to 3-1 ---  as i said i cannot stress how important it is Walsall dont win tonight to open 3 places

We dominated the first half and on another day would have scored two,or three goals.
Keep playing like this and we can win this game.
The cross for their goal was superb and very difficult to defend against.

The game at home against these was exactly the same! They score slow play down and we are poor in our finishing.
I’m still not an Owen Bailey fan, he is a passenger not doing much at all, Broadbent ran that game.
Title: Re: Bromley v TLOD
Post by: colincramb on March 04, 2025, 09:50:58 pm
Results might have gone our way, but that’s a massive missed opportunity to put daylight between us and those around us.

Big bollock dropped that against a team that’s offered nothing in over a 160 minutes of football against us.

Barn door Billy is reincarnated.

Can't remember when he last had a shot on target.
For a seasoned striker, he's snatching at shots or wildly sticking his boot through it.

Title: Re: Bromley v TLOD
Post by: drfchound on March 04, 2025, 10:04:05 pm
Ten minutes added time, at least four minutes wasted by “injured players” during those ten minutes but ref blows after twelve minutes.
The goal came from a free kick that shouldn’t have been awarded as well.
How Sharp missed that one late on i will never understand.
A win tonight would have been massive given the results of the teams around us.

That was the most one-sided game I’ve seen which didn’t end in a win.

Hugely frustrating but there was nothing wrong with our endeavour or our performance.

No disasters in the other results so let’s put this unbelievable result behind us and get a win on Saturday.

The game at home against these was exactly the same! They score slow play down and we are poor in our finishing.
I’m still not an Owen Bailey fan, he is a passenger not doing much at all, Broadbent ran that game.
Broadbent did come close to scoring tonight, just in the wrong goal!  :silly:

What crackers game, unbelievable number of shots and chances, only needed the rub of the green in one of them to get a point, but not to be.

A prime Billy Sharp takes those sitters he missed and we win the game, sadly Billy is a shadow of his former self
