Title: Ian Holloway video, well worth watching!
Post by: Wiltshire Exile on March 07, 2025, 09:41:15 pm
Well worth watching this video by Ian Holloway, Swindon manager. No rubbish, speaks a lot of common sense, and some very good comments re the Rovers and Grant M.

I could listen to Ian Holloway all day long, his straightforward approach to things makes his team talks effective . I don’t fall the “We’re awful off the ball” he’s been too long in the game to give his hand and this will be another banana skin if we don’t take this team to the cleaners from the start !!

I like Holloway too. He was a decent player and he's  still a decent and honest bloke (if you exclude the requirement to mislead oppositions and their managers).

Not sure about honest and I reckon several thousand Grimsby fans would disagree with you as well.

His touch line display yesterday  was a disgrace and if he is as 'honest' and 'straightforward ' as suggested he would apologise open heartedly. Went way down in my estimation yesterday. He should have been sent off at the very least.

He showed a distinct lack of class yesterday on the touchline, he’s gone way down in my estimation now, he’s one of the new Kitsons !!

Grimsby and Holloway was a marriage made in Hell.

He’s always been an attention seeking w@nker.

I can’t believe so many people have praised him in this thread.

To be fair it’s only 3 people. Mind you that’s 3 more than I would expect.

So correct, come across these types often, they’re very vocal and initially quite funny and a ‘character’ and always speak their mind (Yawn). Then just become as you say mush, a totally attention seeking bore.
