The remaining 9 games, how many points do we think we will get.
I reckon we will get 16 points which will leave us on 79 and hopefully enough to clinch that 3rd spot!

2 ppg, 81

There’s 6 more in those fixtures, three draws and a win. I can’t see us getting anything in the last three, and there’s not much evidence of the leadership, quality or fight needed to get us over the line.

Me and the Grandson did this after the Newport win
With 12 to go I gave us 21 more pts, 5 wins 6 draws 1 defeat
He went 28, 8 - 4 - 0, the exuberance of youth.
I’ll stick with another 19 pts
-
At least one more than 4th spot.
-
We need a massive improvement in the games against those teams around us, it’s now or never.
It doesn’t feel like we are good enough to make it but the league is that bad we might just get over the line.
-
It’s a positive playing teams like Walsall, Wimbledon, Bradford etc we win and obviously no points for them too.
I watched Bradford yesterday, they were dire.
Walsall have gone as a team.
Notts County’s form seems to have deserted them.
Vale are up and down similar to us
We will still go up.

Looking at the games our rivals have left, it's going to be some finish! Lots of ups & downs to come.

What worries me about the likes of Walsall, Wimbledon, Bradford and Colchester for us playing them is that they aren’t open expansive teams and are pretty solid defensively.
And we’ll be the home team in every one.
When they likely sit back and let us have possession what will we do?
Will we have enough ideas to unlock them?

Exactly that pal. We all have to play each other numerous times from 1st place to 8th.
Lots of drama to come.
If we could only concentrate on winning our own games we would definitely go up....its just us winning that's the problem at the minute!

Up there with the very best lines in the history of this site!

I'm not sure. We're away in the important games. We can't reliably unpick solid defences. We have little in midfield. We don't know our best team. We've got some good players and we've got luck on our side. But I suspect both will have to be on top form to make the top three.

Why that Billy? Is it not true? Barring Port Fail we play all of our competitors on the run in, if we best them all, we will be promoted.

If we get Olowu and Street back as a minimum, plus McGrath and Maxwell maybe, our squad should be in the best possible position to attack these last run of games. There aren't many teams blessed with our strength, experience and young talent. Of course that's all on paper but it's time to deliver. Every player has to go out there and play like it might be their last. It's past the point of pacing themselves through a long, hard season.

Do you mean Sterry rather than Street DBR? If so I totally agree that Sterry and Olowu back are IMHO the two back that would make the most difference
Also I have to say we could easily have won the last two matches against two decent teams with us having to make a complete change of all back four

75. Play offs.

75. Play offs.
Think we’re comfortably going to beat that!
If 79 points is going to claim 3rd then we’re in a good position now
