Just listening to the post match interview from sparky, jeez, he blamed the difficult pitch!! Wtf, surely it's one of the best in the division? Then went on to not mention us in the slightest, it was all about what they did wrong , not what we did right.. hey ho, onwards we go...

Before i opened this post, after reading the headline, i instantly thought Mark Hughes by any chance? Hes a complete Kitson, never liked him. Imagine if the pitch was perfect Mark, we would have won by even more.

Wasn't he in charge at Bradford when the pitch there was horrific?
-
To be fair to him, it was one throwaway comment in a whole interview admitting they are shite.
I don’t think he used it as an excuse at all.

I thought it was a very fair assessment. If anything he was a bit harsh on his side, as in my opinion they had some good chances in the first half and a real opportunity to go level in the second half when they pulled a shot just wide from the left hand side of the box but he chose to focus on their lack of energy and fragile mentality. Fair play to him

I also thought his comments to be fair.
The pitch has not been in a good condition for a number of weeks now.

By far not the worst but agree it’s not upto with the best either few bare patches and at times it is too hard

I would say the pitch over since the turn of the year, is one of the worst in the league, but same for both sides

A great gesture by the Carlisle keeper who turned to the south stand and applauded at the end of the game.

Obviously from the West Stand you’re not privy to those ‘little gestures’. I think they need to be highlighted more.
Credit to a keeper who played well, clearly enjoyed’ the atmosphere & appreciated any ‘harmless banter’.
Thanks for sharing Nimmo.

I spotted that too IN.
Most unusual but nice to see.
