Now under 4 weeks away. Isn't that now under the time allowed for Sky to change it? 3pm Saturday
-
All will be revealed on the 3rd of April, it gives the masters at Sky to rule English football, weeks notice etc
-
I'm.having lots of fun winding up their fans on X over their ticket allocation
-
I see we have allocated them 1500 tickets. I wonder if they will get anymore?

That will be the initial allocation.
A club like rovers cannot and will not afford to turn away big away crowds. They will prob sell out the entire north stand.
-
I’d have given them 900 and that’s it, and make them social distance! Every little helps!
-
We should do what they do and stick them in one corner and that's it we used to get behind the goal as well.

we did get behind the goal, albeit once we sold the side bit
-
The board will take all this on…well, on board.
We need to fill the stadium if we can for financial reasons.
It’s the result that ultimately matters.
Nicer to p**s off 3,000 City fans than 1,500 on the day.
-
We need to fill our side as quick as possible maybe even get local school tickets given out, this is not about money it’s about having 10,000 rovers fans pushing the players on to victory
-
Definitely need to try get rovers fans behind both goals if possible, surely gonna be a sell out this one

You would think so but that will probably hinge on what happens in the next few matches.

I read that sky have to give four weeks notice for a change of fixture date.

It is a week shorter for the run in period. We will know at the end of this week.

Just had a look and not one of our next 6 fixtures is Saturday 3pm - Walsall on Tuesday, Cheltenham then Wimbledon both at 12.30, Salford at on a Tuesday then Tranmere and Col U over the Easter weekend. There’s a decent chance that every one of our remaining fixtures is televised.

In some respects the Easter weekend games are better than Saturdays. If there is anything riding on the Colchester game, and let’s hope auto is sealed by then, then there should be a very healthy crowd.
And if auto is sealed, then it should be a party atmosphere.
I’m not counting chickens though. This is rovers after all.
-
It’s incredibly unlikely that autos will be sealed by then. We’d need to win our next 5 games with PV getting no more than 4 points and Wimbledon no more than 6. There’s a better chance we may be able to seal it against Col U but even that would be relatively slim.

Bratfud fans massively rattled by their ticket allocation.
Mind games
-
Is it confirmed it's not just the initial allocation? They're being very dramatic.
-
Checked their website and it says 'total' allocation.

Love it, let’s keep them peed off.
-
Don't get the fuss. Surely the thinking from the club is that we might get a bumper crowd and need some of the tickets in the North Stand? If that game could see us take a big step towards automatic promotion the demand could well be there.
-
Lots of threads on social media where Bradford fans are planning to try on mass to get tickets in the home end. Hopefully the club are well across to prevent what could turn a bit ugly.

It’s brilliant, they are panicking on league 2 banter pages. Grant McCann started this , great shithousery from him

How are they going to this ,if at all ? It’s not the 1970’s
-
They've got no chance the clubs compare databases and anyone on both doesn't get a ticket in our end.
-
Has it been confirmed anywhere that GM actually started this process?
-
Several Bradford fans are saying they have a purchase history with Rovers because they've used our car parking previously, so they intend getting tickets that way.

Then there’s the Rugby League fans
-
I think the football club will have already thought of that and will be able to check when and why purchases were made. For the all the occasional moan and groan about them, office staff are very professional and efficient in what they do.
-
Iv never seen a fanbase get its knickers in a twist so much.
I have a feeling Notts might try the same with us. I’m pretty sure our meltdown won’t be as dramatic if it did happen.
Have we also told them no to their big flag? That would be brilliant too, I read they’d asked us.
-
Looks like south stand selling fast for this already
-
I'm sure any they're suspicious about (e.g. BD postcodes) they'll be able to cross-check them with Bradford's database.
-
If hostilities break out in the “home” areas, those who are there “illegally” will be the prime suspects and their very presence with be seen as provocative and a clear breach of the rules for ticket purchase. Thus they will risk immediate removal in such circumstances.
If I sit in amongst the “home” supporters in an away match I have to suppress my emotions. Having to stand up and clap when the home team takes the field or worse, scores, feels like a mortal sin.
-
I see we have allocated them 1500 tickets. I wonder if they will get anymore?
Why are we not putting more effort into selling more tickets for our supporters .. it’s ridiculous that a club can complain about their ticket allocation when we are not selling out our own stadium . I’m all I favour of the club not wanting to giving away any advantage to Bradford but either we sell more tickets to our own fans or we possibly loose money on the match itself by not maximising our ticket sales . Or is it that we just can’t give them away to fill the stadium . I’d sooner have full stadium and keep good relations with Bradford ..
-
We have another 2 home games before this after tomorrow
-
Last time we played Wednesday and Rotherham in L1 there were away fans all over the east stand…
-
Things have improved since the days of playing Leeds and having to have a DN postcode. Finally realised there's more of them than us in Donny

B*ll*cks to good relations with Bradford. They only gave us 1500 tickets in their huge stadium.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

That may have been the allocation but it didn’t sell out did it?
-
From memory we sold out the side stand and then on the day of the game they announced the other stand too
-
I’ve heard a rumour the games getting moved to a 12pm kick off on the Sunday

i had tickets behind the goal, got them a week before the match, we sold out what they gave us then gave us some more on the day

I feared that they would do this but I really hope it doesn’t happen.

I'd be surprised if they don't Hound.

Me too, I posted about the possibility a couple of weeks back as it really cocks up my weekend plans.
Someone else mentioned that they had booked the Saturday off work especially for the game too.
I dare say we won’t be the only ones either.
-
I can deal with a kick off time change but at least leave it on a Saturday
-
I’ve pre booked a parking space on my parking app, I would be charged extra for altering the amended time.
-

Agreed Scooter

Sunday would be rubbish, already plans on that day. They don't give a shit about fans these days do they?
-
My son plays Sunday morning football. I’ve been waiting ages for him to move up to 11 a side. His first 11 a side match is Sunday 27th, probably a lunch time kick off. That’s why I hope Bradford stay on Saturday
-
More likely moved to 12:30 on a Saturday.
-
As I've said in a previous thread, I've never known Sky switch a lower league game to a Sunday. It's always been either a 12.30 KO on a Saturday, or a Thursday night game.
-
It won’t be Sunday
-

I don't know how you've heard that rumour, sky aren't announcing their EFL schedule until thursday.
-
Apparently they have sold out

Theyre talking about the away game
-
They are if it was me I would put them in both corners 750 each side and leave the middle empty with a rovers bug flag in it
-
Apparently they have sold out
. Bradford put it on X that they have sold out.
-
On the Bradford forum someone has put that the kick off is going to be moved due to there being horse racing at Doncaster that day.
Wasn’t it The Lincoln last Saturday which is the biggest meeting on Town Moor after The Leger. It’s an evening meeting, and we don’t play at Belle Vue anymore
-
I’ve pre booked a parking space on my parking app, I would be charged extra for altering the amended time.
out of interest, why would you use a parking app when there's an abundance of free parking close to the ground?
-
When was the last time a Rovers match was moved, or kick off time changed, due to a race meeting?
It seems like a long time ago.
-
I dunno exactly but I remember (I think) for the Leger in 81 and 82 our Friday night fixture was vs Exeter, 3-0 followed by 6-1.
-
Didn't we play the Conference Semi-finals the wrong way round because of the races?
-

Please tell me where I can park near to the stadium for free?

So another one along with the Wimbledon game I can’t get to.
Fck Sky!

Bradford confirmed as Saturday 12:30 kick off
Not a surprise.
Oh well, at least it's still a Saturday I guess, although I'm sure this will cause a problem for some.
-
Do we get any extra money for these games
-
Glad it’s not Thursday or Friday.!!
-
I'm absolutely sick of these early kick offs, takes all the energy out of the day. I love the build up of football at 3pm. Out with the kids in the morning, pubs pre-match, get in the mood. 12.30ko suits nobody!
-

side street opposite porcelanosa there's loads of safe free parking, minutes from the ground
-
A good point raised on another forum is that these early kick- offs curtail the pre match food and drink sales …so gerrit down yer early on lads just for the club ‘s sake of course .
-
I’ve amended my pre booked parking times and I’ve not been charged.

We park by the Vue cinema and walk round the lake..
