Evening all
-
Decent start but a needless, and deserved, booking for George isn’t helpful
-
Not even the crack of dawn for you!
-
Evening chaps. Been a nice day in Gloucestershire. Mind you a minor service and MoT cost me 480 quid which rather dampened things a tad!
BobG
-
Not even the crack of dawn for you!
In bed with laptop and headphones trying not to wake the house.
-
Clearly if you fall over the ref is going to blow this whistle. It’s all about him.
-
Port Vale 1 up against the Bantams after 11 mins.
-
Port Vale 1 up on Bratfud.
-
Doh!
-
Is that Richard Wood or have we just pulled someone off the street? All over the shop so far.
-
Not good enough so far need to get a foot on the ball
-
Ah ok ignore that
-
MOLY!
-
Get in!!
-
Doh!
Dont do that bob.
I read that and assumed walsall had scored. At work so not seeing the action
-
Bugger me!
-
Was about to say we’d started slowly
-
FFS
-
Bugger
-
Sweet shot! Looking like a good game, lots to come.
-
Oh shit. Sorry Thorney! I didn't think of that interpretation. Sorry!!
-
That was shit from TSL
-
More the defending, allowed to go 40 yards and get a cross in
-
Both tbh nobody dare put a foot in with the ref giving Walsall a foul for every tackle then TSL dives after the ball crossed the line
-
That was shit from TSL
It was excellently well-placed and he dived full length. TSL couldn’t have done better. Credit to the scorer and a pity as Sterry let him get the wrong side of him.
-
Both goals were very well worked- disappointing for us that Gibson lost possession cheaply and neither Senior or Wood could stop the cross- first impression was that TSL didn’t have much chance.
-
Walsall look dangerous going forward, especially down our left
-
Port Vale 1 up against the Bantams after 11 mins.
Port Vale now 2 up.
-
Good lord I’ve read some sh.. on here but to blame TSL for that? The defence is getting pulled all over and can’t cope with their movement pace or strength.
We are playing very direct and need to play football, when we do we open them up.
I also think Moly is having a bit of a shocker so far, barring the great shot, everything so far has been poor.
-
A season defining second half. Do we want to be a team dribiling to the play-offs, or a team taking the title by the ballsack? Both options are in our hands.
-
Very even first half. Hope we go on to sneak it
-
HT. Two decent sides. Some nice moves from both teams. Rovers just lacking bite in the final third. I’d like to see Kelly and Billy on for at least 30 mins of second half.
-
I’d get PK on for Sbarra. PK drives us forward
-
TSL was not to blame for their goal it started in midfield when Sbarra does nothing in there to stop the ball or player then out wide good cross and header. I don’t what Sbarra gives to the side. Get Clifton or Kelly on and I would also get Sharpe on.
-
I’d get PK on for Sbarra. PK drives us forward
definitely. may as well get 11 men on the pitch.
-
Sbarra has been awful, sorry.
One pass all season at Hull. How he gets a game otherwise is a mystery.
-
As identified on the commentary, Sbarra does get into good positions to keep play moving around the final quarter. Just not that successful with what he does with it.
Molly being pressed, Sterry not that focused. Their 19, Charlton loanee, is very dangerous.
-
Sbarra has been pretty poor but he wasn’t at fault for the goal, it was Gibson, and I can tell you Mcann was not happy with his half hearted run to get the ball back.
-
Senior seems to confine himself to safe sideways and backwards passing. He is a wingback or just a back-and-further-back who didn't try to even get close to the player who crossed the ball for their equaliser?
-
Senior a bit rash with the tackles as usual
-
Must agree about senior with his backward play, seems unsure what to do at times.
-
They are allowing us to shuffle the ball about and we aren’t creating anything- inspiration needed from somewhere
-
Wimbledon winning
-
Second best this half
-
If Gibson and Sbarra continue to turn the ball over so easily they have got to be changed- it is stopping us build any momentum
-
Wimbledon winning
Rovers now down to 5th.
-
Walsall playing a very high press and we’re struggling to pass through them
-
FFS mols not every chance has to be a shot three others in the box
-
Think changes are needed no idea who though
-
Grant has got to tell Moly that he is not going to score a worldie every time- we have got to start getting it in the box and getting Street in the game
-
Should have been a red for Walsall player
-
BBC stats: Possession 67%/33% in Rovers’ favour.
Really?
-
Deffo need to change things
-
Yellow card to Sharman-Lowe.
Why was that?
-
Gibson’s so lightweight
-
I would have put Street out left and taken Gibson off
-
Hope I’m proved wrong but that’s a rotten double substitution
-
Yellow card to Sharman-Lowe.
Why was that?
Holding onto the ball when they wanted a quick corner

Many thanks, IR!
-
We’re frustratingly not quite good enough
-
My thoughts exactly
-
We’re frustratingly not quite good enough
How much better are they, PR….that is if they are?!
-
Clifton’s first touch is Sunday league but at least he plays a percentage ball into space rather than a safe ball down a dead end
-
Probably not much better. But we never seem to get a head of steam and control the game. It’s all so slow and ponderous. I mean I would obviously like us to sneak a goa!
-
I don't think they are particularly better they are sitting back waiting to counter we don't know how to break them down
-
Wish we had a Copps!!
-
Please tell senior which way Walsall goal is.
-
They are not much better than us at all, we lack intensity and are so single paced though.

Thank you, PR and jmt23!
-
A lot of space in the SS given it was supposed to be sold out. Far more than the needed 10% free for unreserved.
-
Do we want to win this game?
-
Yes!
-
fmd that was Sharp
-
Ueeeees!
-
Yessssss!!!! BILLY
Superb flick to leave the keeper standing.
-
Get in thoughts on an offside who cares get in
-
What a finish!
-
Get in Billy! Thought he looked off tho
-
Get in thoughts on an offside who cares get in
I was waiting for the flag!
-
Oh my word Billy- great cross from Gibson for all his failings
-
BILLY. Yes!

Squeeeeeeky bum time
-
Brilliant, now hang on to that lead.

Great goal billy sharp.

Hang on now lads, no mistakes

Quality cross from their number 3
-
Bloody typical come on rovers 3 mins to win it
-
Pooo!
-
Thrown it away yet again. Very frustrating watch.
-
What a battle!
-
f**ky f**k f**k
-
tbf I think a draw was a fair (and not disastrous) result.
Just could have been so much better :(
-
Fair result, the build up play was far to slow l, think kelly should have come on after a hour, both teams looked frightened to death of losing
-
Grief it’s tight at the top!
-
Was Billy off for that disallowed goal?
-
Was Billy off for that disallowed goal?
Yes
-
So so close, just not good enough in large parts no where near in the first 20 of both halves. Could have been in our own hands now we need a couple of snookers
-
Not too bad results wise. Wimbledon will be gutted. Two late pens and a sending off
-
You can’t win games when letting in an equal number of goals conceded to goals scored. We have a weak defence.
-

Plenty of games left, plus we have that game in hand.
-
Wood was really poor for their second goal. He was in front of their lad yet let him win the ball.
-

Yes. Caught flat there. He’ll be as pissed off as we are
-

Season ticket holders are included whether they turn up or not and remember half term round here so even less than normal. The ticket office can't help it X number of season ticket holders. Y number of of seats lost due to unallocated = Z left on general sale
-
We need a run of wins if we want a top three finish, starting with Cheltenham on Saturday.
