Ranked 41st best across all of EFL. 442 Mag.
Fair play to him.
15 goals and 10 assists.

Let's be honest. Take Molyneux out of this squad and we are a lower-mid table side. Time and again this season it's been huff and puff and "Oh, Molyneux's done it again!"

Yep, and he's the one player that other teams and their fans fear.
Several times on Tuesday night he had three opposing players on him.
-
It baffles me as to why we don’t capitalise on this. Answers please.
-
Molly's first touch when receiving the ball is as good as it gets.
-

Agreed, and I'd say the same about Sterry.
Whereas the ball seems to bounce off Broadbent!
-
Yeah his first touch is class. The way he brings it down over his shoulder when TSL sends it long is brilliant technique.
-
Top player, and currently carrying us a lot.
-
But over used would be my remark, we should balance it out with Gibson on the other side but we rarely do - obviously Tuesday we scored from that side too.
-
There's no such thing specifically as a one man team. However, I had a feeling that if Whiteman ever left us, we'd drop like a stone; and we did.
I'm getting the same feeling about Luke. Whatever league we're in next season, we can't keep relying on one man to produce the goods.

The signing of Adelukan freed up Moly in the 2nd half of last season. Opposing teams concentrated on trying to nullify HA which left Moly with a lot more freedom. If only we had someone capable of doing the same this season, Gibson just doesn't cut it and clearly the lad from Man Utd can't either.
As said already, there were times on Tuesday where Moly was up against 3 defenders, in theory that creates lot of space elsewhere to exploit. We'll be lucky to get over the line this season.

GM said, he's got his eye on being L2 top scorer though now 5 behind Cheek I understand. Even if he gets close, it's an achievement for a wide player, particularly with the assists on top.
We sometimes bemoan his shooting, instead of passing or crossing, as with the two high and wide attempts on Tuesday, but after burying one earlier, he's earned the right to have a go.
If we bear his target in mind, we ought to cut him some slack in the remaining games.
-

Doesn't help when Broadbent can only pass properly on his right hand side, very rarely looks over to his left.

Maybe so but, this is his first season playing that role, and we've seen how he's improved as the season has progressed. He's more battle hardened now, learning from his mistakes. I'm not saying he's in Whiteman's class but he's probably the most improved player of the season?
-
More hate for Broadbent this time on a Molyneux thread. Literally the only player who wants the ball from the defence and passes through the lines rather than hopeful balls. Baffles me
-
Hate is a strong word.

FFS reminds me of the comments I heard as a junior football coach for 15 years - are you Gibbo's dad?
-
I didn’t rate Broadbent at all until the last few months, I hold my hat up and he’s been excellent

I bet you shouted "GET RID OF IT" a few times on those 15 years.
-
Put it this way if he got injured now our season would be done with.
-

Agreed, a bit Coppingeresque.
-
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Should be in the championship.
-
Excellent again today
-
He's one of those players that if we saw against us we would want.

EVERY team in this division wants him!

Every team in league 1 would take him right now

Our best player by a mile.
Total quality and that’s why he gets special attention from opponents.
-
I’d put Sterry and Bailey in that little Molly group too, TSL knocking on the door, Olowu fantastically improved. A fit Maxwell right in there.
And a raft of improvers…
Remember how long it took Molly to click, so who is currently a Molly of 2 years ago…potential but frustrating atm?

Absolutely, but the midfield have not been savy enough to exploit it.

He was brilliant today, moreso when he was switched to the left, I'm guessing this was specifically targeting that side.
