If you mean the foul on Street, yes, absolutely nailed on pen.
Street dummied the ball past the defender who then just went straight through him with both feet.
I was fuming when the ref ignored the foul.
Outside of the box that is a foul all day and probably a yellow card too.

We’ll get one when it really matters. I can feel it.

97th minute agajnst bradford at home. Ironside to win the league smashing it to the top right hand corner infront of the south stand

Swap Ironside for Sharp, but I agree with you

One on Street looked like he left his leg in, and was directly in front of me.
-
Lino could have helped but he was useless and scared stiff of making a decision

That's it, just tell the Bradford keeper where he's putting it why don't you. Jeez.

Ah, but is it going in Joes top right hand side or the keepers top right hand side?
(Just trying to get their keeper thinking harder in case he reads this forum).

If you do it right down the defender does actually get a slight touch of the ball just before he take street out,I’m 50/50 whether it would of been overturned with VAR
-
A good close angle on it from Adam Gittins VLOG.

That’s what I looked on not saying whether it was or wasn’t,ref is looking through a lot of players so no way he can say the defender got sum of the ball ,must of looked even more of a pen from where he was really

About 9.35 mins in
-
At the time it looked clear the defender got a small touch of the ball.
Similar question without starting a new thread….have we scored a direct free kick this season?

If we haven’t, all runs come to an end.

The Lino could have helped

Ironside isn't spending too much time on the pitch this season. Who takes if this happen when he is on the bench?
-
One of Sharp, Mols, Street, Sterry, Gibbo.
But if Sharp is on the pitch I think he would take the responsibility.
-
Molyneux and Sterry haven't taken a normal time penalty in their entire careers. Street has taken one, in the Premier League 2 Division One U23 but never at senior level. Doubt it would be any of those.
Gibson is the best bet in terms of return and likelihood of being on pitch. He has a 7 in 7 record in his career, including at League One level. Sharp has a good record with 31 converted from his 39 career penalties, with 19 conversions collectively from Premier League and Championship, but isn't on the pitch that much.

and Gibson hasn't scored a normal time penalty in his entire career. Sharp hasn't done this for us this season.
So if Ironside wasn’t on the pitch and we got a pen who would you think would take given that so many of our players haven’t taken one in normal time.
-
I’m pretty sure the players would have done penalties in training, knowing someone may have to take one. Who’s the best option after ironside and sharp, is anyones guess.
-
Harry Clifton took a very composed penalty in the Cup shoot out.
-
Gibson has the best historical penalty record of any player that’s taken them semi regularly.
-
Absolutely would not bet on Gibson to deliver in a high pressure moment

Today was the first time Molyneux has ever taken a normal time penalty in league football and scores.

Said that to the kid next to me prior to him taking it. Thought it was the case.

Fair odds he didn’t give a shit at that moment in time.

OMG I wouldn’t like to trust Gibson to take a penalty at present.

Gibson has talent, no doubt but his application needs much to be desired, especially tracking back, would look much better in a hard working midfield
