any word on when they will be released?, ive a recent habit of only realising just before they sold out.. doh!!! im guessing they will go v quickly...
-
The rumour at Cheltenham was that it’s one day this week
-
The stand doesn’t hold a safety certificate to be full either, so I think we’ll receive a lot less than most people think.
-
It's 2000 now you get
-
The lower part of the Jimmy sirrel stand is left closed as they reckon the concourse cannot cope with a full stand. This will no doubt be a hot ticket to have. I can’t see it making general sale.
-

That's a bit rude Padge, he was only asking!
;)
-
OP asks a very good question just noticed on FB that Walsall have sold out away to Crewe for the last game

Hope bradford are OK with that
-
1985 tickets apparently go on sale Monday
-
Just seen the order of allocation. I’ve 80 points so hopefully I’ll get one
-
No chance there's 1985 fans with even 60 points
-

You think I’ve no chance or you ?
I reread your post - I now understand :-)
-
Main ticket sites has the date as 30 May
-
Thanks for the reminder. I’ve just logged in to see that I have 119 points - I thought I had about 90ish. I’ve just realised that the points from next season’s membership that I have just bought have been added
-
Just seen it drops from 80 to 50! Insane probably goes from a few 100 eligible to 3000! Only need to have had a ST last 2 years and attended 2 extra matches to be 50+
-
I'll still go even if I can't get a ticket, didn't stop me getting into crewe without one.
-
I have 84 points, hoping that will be enough to get me a ticket
-
Same as me. It will be enough i'm sure.
-
Previously the club published a list of the number of people in each points bracket which is really helpful if buying tickets as part of a group. Then you can decide whether to wait and buy together or get them earlier if your points total allows and theres a risk of missing out by waiting.
-
Was told today at the ticket office that it probably won't make the 50 to 79 points bracket.
-
Just seen renewing ST has added another 20 odd points on so will be there forever sure now
-
123 PTS... Think I'll be ok :-)

This won’t make General Sale
-
It won't make 50 to 79 points
-
I find it really strange how they do these.
Surely 90+ is fine for day 1 which covers around half the available tickets if everyone in that bracket bought one.
50-80 is ridiculous. Imagine being on 79 and having the same opportunity as someone on 50.
I really don’t understand our thinking with this system at times.
-
Pretty much where I'm at MushRTID. I can't change it so no point me moaning about it.

I’d like to know the thinking behind the bandings. Perhaps to give preference to the top points people to get preferential seating. They should open new bands up at 9am then 1pm. Get two bands made available in a day.
-
Doesn’t matter what the club do or what bands are set, this board will whinge

Similar to England away tickets but you could be 1 short of a guaranteed ticket and miss out to someone on 0 points through the ballots.
I think rovers are expecting tickets to be sold out by Wednesday which might explain the drop to 50 points, as it wouldn’t matter anyway.
-
There are 1985 tickets and 2257 people with 80+ points. I'm in that bracket and won't be buying one if it doesn't get to the 50+ bracket as my dad's on 78. Que cera.
If 88% of elegible people up to and including Wednesday buy a ticket and they sell out, so be it, I hope you all have a great day out and I'll be supporting from home.
No matter where the club put the cut off for these brackets somebody is going to be left disappointed.
-
You could buy one anyway superspy and sell it to me lol.
I'm not even joking by the way

Gazlaz, may I ask you a genuine and well-intentioned question?
Could you give me 3 things which you feel our club does well?
As a Rovers supporter, which I presume you to be, I assume there must be some aspects of the experience which you enjoy, respect or admire?
I just struggle sometimes to understand what enjoyment you get from supporting the Rovers.

How many of that allocation go to players families etc?
-
I heard there was an issue with the lower tier at county being closed for concourse issues .i think I have found the issue .
Notts County's away stand concourse areas at Meadow Lane have had some issues related to accessibility and accessibility toilets. While the stand is located in the Jimmy Sirrel Stand and access is via the County Road turnstiles, concerns have been raised about the wheelchair accessible toilets, which are located in a separate portacabin and may not be ideal. Additionally, some fans have mentioned that the catering options can be challenging to reach from the away stand, and some stewards have been praised for their helpfulness and responsiveness to the needs of disabled fans.
Surely clubs can’t come to some sort of arrangement to sort this. County are missing out on big chunks of revenue .and fans are missing out on games .
-
Hi mate.My understanding is that the safety advisory group have stipulated the restriction on numbers in that particular stand.
We ( the shadow board) have worked long & hard with our club to reach even this number.
To be fair to County they are a well run with a good bloke as their CEO. Our club hierarchy have an excellent relationship with Magpies officials.
-
So how is it allocated? The whole side of the ground but not the lower half? Or other way around? Half the side of the pitch now? Tight allocation is going to cause the usual grumbles between sit and stand for sure
-
What time on the date stated do tickets go on sale? Do the online ones start the same time as the ticket office opens? I always thought it was 9am on the day they are reported to go on sale - is that right?

9am generally I think from memory.
-
They were on sale from 9am this morning
-
Looks like there is a block of ~100 tickets blocked out. Presume these are for players families and staff.

Scrap that, looks more like 200 with blocked our seats in another block thats appeared.
330ish sold by my maths. 483 people with enough points to purchase.
-
Presuming I get a ticket, how do you book a supporters coach these? Last time I went on the supporter coach was about 30 years ago....
-

Its not an easy place to get to on the train is it.
Its 1hr 30mins on the train with 1 change at Grantham, 14 mins walk from the station to the ground. We've had far worse to contend with.

Yes we have, to say how far it is it takes longer than it should though. Genuinely thinking about getting a taxi.

You can get via Sheffield also. Similar sort of time.
If anyone goes via Grantham, there is a nice real ale spot on platform one. Called the whistle stop. Usually have a decent tipple or two on tap.
-
Tickets taking a hammering so far today. Got mine but I don’t think they’ll last until Thursday when the wife and young un are eligible.
-
Got mine this morning hopefully something to look forward to!
-
Just been to get 2 Notts County tickets and the lady in the ticket office said they should be all gone by close of play tomorrow.
-
Less than 500 just now
-
Roll on tomorrow - i theory there will be one left for me

He’s clearly giving it a lot of thought.

Less than 500 just now
Something very not right here.
1985 tickets available.
1159 people current have enough points to be eligible.
So there should be minimum 826 tickets left, assuming every single eligible fan has bought one.
Even if there's 100 set aside for players/families that should be well over 700 left.
As of 2 mins ago, there were 477 remaining.
-
They'll open up other blocks as they get sold.
-
They'll open up other blocks as they get sold.
Yeah that makes sense. Just counting up blocks they've released so far, only adds up to 1193 tickets
-
Bit of if speculation, but looks like 2 more blocks to come each with about 390-400 seats. That would take us up to the 1985 allocation.
So maybe 1200 tickets still left at the moment.

What about an old school way, service bus Doncaster to Worksop, bus stops right outside Worksop station, then Robin Hood line Worksop to Nottingham. Saves time and money going down to Grantham and it’s a bit more scenic

Thanks for that. Worksop didn’t even cross my mind. That may be the option for me as I live in Blyth. It’s only 10mins away.
-
Also Donny via Sheffield works on the train.
-
Anyone else not available to make this one and willing to sell a ticket
-
Ticket purchased
-
Just got my lad his.
-
Got ours.

Got mine :bbscarf:

Trains to Nottingham from Worksop are hourly at 39 minutes of the hour, 10.39,11.39 etc and with you living at Blyth it’s no brainer. If you book the train now it’ll be about £10 for the return
-
Looks like theres around 500 tickets left, unless theres more blocks to be released
-
Got ours. It took a few phone calls to get onto a queue.
-
After the game you ticket gets you free entry into the beer festival back in donny
-
I don’t live in Donny any more but if that’s a promotion party I am in!

Well there are a few tickets left this morning so I managed to get 2 for me and Dad. Happy days :)
-
Yeah, I had to get our groups tickets over 3 days as we all have different points totals! All 5 of us have tickets now, albeit not with seats all together but we’ll sort that when we get there, just relieved we’re going to be there!!! Now it’s down to the boys to make it a party game rather than a must win!! :boxing: :boxing:
-
Due to a change of circumstances by one of our group I now have a spare ticket for Notts County.
Get in touch if anyone wants it please.

Would imagine the remainder (Zone X) would be released today, as there are very few left in Y & Z now.

Sold out

Am I missing something? Are they releasing more tickets for Notts? Or is that it?

that's it I believe, no more coming out way
-
I think that’s it - there’s an issue with some of the stand apparently, so it’s been 2000 capacity for away fans the whole season - according to a notts county fan, friend of mine.

Id be surprised if the Sheffield route is cheaper than via Worksop, mind you its an excruciating route, that line is mainly 40mph tops most of the way with some sections of 20mph, takes over 70 mins to get there. You will need use of the bar on the platform for definite!
-
Got ours at separate times. Thankfully away games are unreserved
-
All 2,000 sold out, well done Rovers fans.
It’s going to be a hell of an occasion.
-
£5 Bentley to Sheffield then £13 Sheffield to Notts
