Who do we think these could be? Does it include Maxwell, who was already ruled out last Saturday?
-
I hope it's the midfield so McCann has no option but to change it because a midfield of Broadbent, Bailey and Clifton/Sbarra is shite and does not work.
-
Wood will be one.
-
Mcgrath will be the other one.

And yet we’re 4th in the table, win tomorrow and we’re second.
Can’t all be shite can it?
-
Sterry was flattened just before his goal and looked like his shoulder had come out. He played on carrying his arm and 1min later scored. When he was coming back to position for kick off he was waving to the bench pointing at his shoulder.
Senior late in the game was also waving to the bench.

See how that midfield does next season if we win promotion be going straight back to league 2.

If we do go up then I reckon we might find some different players in the hoops next season.

Of course it’s not all shite, but that area of the pitch has been a glaring weakness since day 1 and doesn’t really look any closer to being fixed now.

Doesn’t alter the fact of our league position though does it
As for next season, if we go up, I agree with Hound - of course we need additions..

6 central midfielders contracted for next season

No different to this season then but we still brought loan players in.

"our league position" is NOT in the autos, it is in the play-offs. And as you also alluded to, we have to win tonight's game first. When I have previously said OTHER clubs have a game in hand over Rovers not long ago I am told they may not win those games, but now WE have a game in hand the assumption you make is we will win it. We will see this evening.

What odds did you get on a Salford win?

Where did I say we will win tonight?
All I was saying is despite some folks bemoaning the performances, we are in a great position.

Wood, McGrath and Ironside then.
-
Recurrence of Ironside’s recent hernia op?
-
Street is going to knackered come 5pm Monday
-
Ironside and McGrath both had injections and could play Friday.

Begs the question why Maxwell been out so long with a broken toe.
-
Maxwell was invisible the whole time apart from a hospital passback to the keeper and giving the ball back to Salford.

The clue is in the name of the sport - football - the toe is part of the foot.!
How do you know how his recovery is going, are you part of the club’s physio team.?

Hopefully he comes back in good nick next season.
But I’m worried the number of minutes and pummellings he had last season has knackered him out. He was epic.

think he played because he had to really, still don’t think he is fully fit
-
Yeah Maxwell wasn't fit, that was clear to see but that will be a nagging horrible injury that just wont go away until he gets some rest I'm afraid. Fair play to him for playing, thought he did alright, looked rusty but you would in that situation

Eh? What are you on about? I don't know his recovery which is the question? Do you?
We have been told its a broken toe which is not uncommon to play with local anesthetic.
-
Not uncommon, but everyone is unique.
You questioned why he has been out so long, implying you think he should be fit enough with injections.

Yes that's correct? He was fit before getting the broken toe. If he could have had an injection in the broken toe to carry on playing but the club haven't done that maybe there were some other fitness concerns?
