Thought I'd start this early as I've finished work and having a pint in Salford.
There aren't any pubs nearby to the ground.
Hopefully they've got a bar

They have a bar at the away end but it was pricey last year and in the open if it rains. The star Inn allows away fans in. It is 1.3 miles from the ground.

Currently in Star Inn with my lad and Gazlaz.

Great stuff. Hope you enjoy the game and we are all celebrating at the end. You will easily out sing them tonight. Need our supporters to stay with them for 90 minutes even if it is going wrong.
-
Enjoy your pint and the game lads. Hope we put a strong side out and get a win :scarf:
-
I’m in the Friendship Inn, about a mile from the ground. Plenty of Donny fans in here, certainly more than Salford fans.
-
No wood, no McGrath, no Ironside,
-
Is that a 3-4-3?

No wood, no McGrath, no Ironside,

Molyneux could behind Street and Gibson

Why no Flint on the bench?
-
Bench looks light without Sharp & Ironside.

Why no Flint on the bench?
He is on the bench, alongside Nixon, Crew, Sbarra, Clifton & Ennis

You could be right BBC have gone with that so we will see Salford play 3412. so as long as we don’t get overloaded in midfield
Senior will have to mark N’Mai Anderson to look after Stockton.
-
Not very hopeful of getting a result. Please prove me wrong Rovers.
-
We have the best away record in the division even before tonight
Salford are currently 16th in table with home points
What could possibly go wrong lads and lasses
-
Why no Flint on the bench?
He is on the bench, alongside Nixon, Crew, Sbarra, Clifton & Ennis
Yeah seen it since, FotMob showed us only having 6 on the bench.
-
Not very hopeful of getting a result. Please prove me wrong Rovers.
Have faith ScillyRover!
-
Superb support here from Donny.
Nice to see Copps out on the pitch taking the players through their paces
-
Chance tonight to see what desire the players have and what they are made of .
-
Can’t see us going 3 at back

Sterry Anderson senior maxwell
Molyneux Bailey Broadbent Gibson
Kelly
Street
Not a bad shout because Kelly in a central midfield 2 would be the biggest risk with a 3-4-3 formation IMO
-
Can't see us getting anything from this i hope I'm wrong
-
Salford have been banging on about thier current unbeaten streak on social media, let’s hope it comes back to bite them!
-
Overwhelming positivity on here I see.....
-
Let's f**king smash em!!!
-
Salford have been banging on about thier current unbeaten streak on social media, let’s hope it comes back to bite them!
Rovers are also on a 6 game unbeaten run, although we would be happier with a couple more wins. Never mind a win tonight will cheer us up!
-
Playing The Boys are back in Town whilst waiting for the match to start, great entrance music from Belle Vue days.
-
For some reason I’m feeling positive about tonight. Come on Rovers!
-
That pitch is shocking.
-
We have the right sort of stats from the first ten minutes to make it successful. COYR!!!!
-
That’s not a foul
-
Started well. Goal disallowed offside
-
Shocking decision that. Never a foul
-
Started well. Goal disallowed offside
Disallowed for a foul that wasn't
-
Especially since a couple of heavy clatters into Street early on allowed
-
Shocking decision that. Never a foul
It’s gonna be one of those nights Salford just throw themselves on the floor and they will win everything
-
How much time for a throw in.??
-
Started well. Goal disallowed offside
Disallowed for a foul that wasn't
Ah was it
-
Never a foul, threw himself to the floor.
If that was anderson who went down then would he have given a penalty?
-
Goooalalalalalalalall
-
get in there lads!!!!!!
-
Get in.!!

The man who should have had red
-
Was that even a foul?
-
Deflected according to Radio Sheffield.
-
The man who should have had red
Bloody amazing how many times that happens.
-
We don’t half concede some soft goals. Wall? What wall!
-
Deflected through the wall..
-
The man who should have had red
Didn’t look that bad to me but the players’ reaction was pretty strong.
-
Was that even a foul?
Yeah Anderson took his leg away
Just wall didn't stand strong
-
Their long throw merchant often oversteps when delivering
-
Need to get on the ball and run at the Salford players on yellows
-
And now the tactical injury from Salford
-
The man who should have had red

BBC live feed suggesting he was lucky to stay on
-
And now the tactical injury from Salford
At least he's going off
-
f**king hell - that sub for Salford makes Dean Windass look svelte and spritely
-
Their long throw merchant often oversteps when delivering
Only part of his foot Dutch.
-
Their no.6 Fornah looks a good player
-
They look a pretty decent side
-
And now the tactical injury from Salford
They probably need to win more than we do, so don’t think they’ll be playing that game
-
Playing dirty though..
-
And now the tactical injury from Salford

They seem to want to take a full minute over every throw in and goal kick
-
The camera can’t keep off Robinson. Is there a bigger f**king b*lend in the game than this tool?
-
Expecting us to get the 1st red unless Robinson gets it
-
Can we come back from behind?
-
We’re not behind..
1-1 half time..
-
Got lucky there didn't see much wrong there
-
Equals up our disallowed goal for not much
-
N’mai wont be coming out for the second half looked injured
-
Good strong ref think he has done well
-
Salford scorer should have been sent off for that lunge on Molly
-
Yeah that equals our disallowed goal out. But f**king hell, what was TSL doing there?
-
bloody hell - crying out for someone in the middle of the park who can put a decent tackle in - they've got as much time as they want on the ball... :pinch:
-
4 mins go up for additional time. BBC showing 45+7 and still playing?
-
Can one of the subs that won’t get on please do the decent thing and t**t that bellend Robinson in the tunnel at half time. Tosser
-
Yeah that equals our disallowed goal out. But f**king hell, what was TSL doing there?
Quality keeper.
-
Cracking game this by the way
-
Think we’re playing pretty well, certainly a step up from Saturday.
Two concerns though. Firstly I don’t look at the bench and have much confidence that there’s anything there that can help maintain the intensity. Secondly we still look wide open so don’t trust us not to concede again.
Still pissed off about the goal - why was there a 3 foot gap in the wall?
-
Don't think a point would be that bad to be honest
-
Was just going to say, would you take a point?
-
Can't cope I'm off to walk the dog
-
Just need to avoid our usual lethargic start to 2nd half.
-
Don't think a point would be that bad to be honest
It wouldn’t be, but what it means is that we probably need to win 3 of our last 4
-
Gibson needs to get involved more. Been a passenger.
We look to be shaky when they attack with some pace.
Unfortunatly feel like they could be the team to up the ante on this 1.
-
Mols not been in it again. Be good to see him getting more involved
-

This 4 games in 9 days was always going to push us to the absolute limit. God knows what we will have left fit by Monday
-
Need to get some quick feet near that lump of a sub defender.
-
What a rubbish pitch we are playing on looks like herd of cattle been on it.
-
Still pissed off about the goal - why was there a 3 foot gap in the wall?
agreed - bag of shite...

-
Fence,not a wall
-
This pitch is f**king shocking.
Looks like the national hopscotch championship has been played on it
-
result - N’Mai's been a pain in the arse....
-
Kelly turned his back on the ball.
-
Gibson promises so much but nothing happens.
-
This is way to open a game. Why doesn't Gibson pass the ball.....!!!
-
Come on lads we need the other 2 points tonight!
-
Gibson promises so much but nothing happens.
Part of the reason is because once he has the ball he never looks up. Lost count of the number of times (not just this game) he gets near the bye line and never even bothers to look if there's somebody to cut it back to on the edge of the box. So annoying.
-
Gibson promises so much but nothing happens.
was going to say earlier - gets in good positions - no final ball...
-
two out of their back 3 on a yellow, with this ref will we be given an advantage soon?
-
Gibson so frustrating he gets the ball runs down blind alleys twice Molyneux in the middle and he thought do by myself and loses the ball
-
Tactical break from Salford?
-
Looking at our subs bench I don’t know what I’d suggest
-
What's that physio up to!
-
These are there for the taking if we up our game a notch..
-
Sbarra
-
Joking
-
Lucky - Adelakun hits post
-
Haks hits the post. Perhaps that was his one bit of quality for this game..
-
half an hour to make a statement - not saying it's shit or bust, but this is a massive missed opportunity in the offing here - these are decidedly ordinary and mccann needs to show he knows what it takes to make a difference...
-
We’re starting to really struggle here. Needs to make a sub
-
What's that physio up to!
No harm done, one up the bum by the looks of it!
-
I’m getting the feeling we’re running out of steam
-
Midfield non existant.
-
So wide open - absolutely need another in midfield here...
-
Not creating very much at the moment and now they hit the post, got to step it up
-
They’ve got some technically very good players. Haks, Stockton, Lund. Need to be careful here
-
Same problem every game. The midfield!
-
I hate to say it, but I can only see one team winning this.
-
Salford getting on top now, hopefully Rovers last this out and come out fighting.
-
Midfield non existant.
Neither team needs midfield in this game, hoof ball and long throws
-
hoping they're saving themselves for a big last twenty - because they've done jack shit since half time....
-
The more Salford come at Rovers the increased chance something will open up for us.
-
Getting back into this, couple of decent chances there..
-
Bet 365 has a draw at 8/13, Rovers and Salford wins at 3/1 and 7/2
-
There could be a red card in this game yet
-
Not sure what young Crew has done not to get a run out...?
-
tactical masterstoke incoming....
-
How was that not a foul on Kelly?
-
Not sure what young Crew has done not to get a run out...?
He can't be worse than Kelly.
-
ooooh - a bit of urgency - almost as if this matters
-
Crew Ennis and Nixon on, Gibbo, Kelly and Maxwell off..
-
A last push, come on Rovers ,a 98th minute winner!
-
A last push, come on Rovers ,a 98th minute winner!
...in time added on to compensate for their keeper sitting on his arse for five minutes - that'd be simply glorious :P
-
Can hope for a miracle.took the right players off.
-
Been much more of a threat these last 10-15 mins..
-
'''Doncaster's back three have played well'

Former Doncaster striker on BBC Radio Sheffield
The three at the back for Doncaster have played well tonight.
They've done well against dangerous opposition''

It's gone very scrappy.''

Not an ounce of composure on the pitch
-
Not an ounce of composure on the pitch
Disagree - Sterry, Anderson, Bailey..
-
A red card but too late to be of use!
-
Crew’s shown more quality in 10 minutes than the rest of the midfield has in the entire game. Can’t believe he hasn’t even made the bench for weeks given how poor we are in midfield.

Tough game for us that. Salford look a good outfit. Maybe a point gained?
-
bloody rubbish, Rovers....disappointing effort against distinctly average opponents - time added-on especially poor
-
Finished 1-1.
What a battle that was. Fine margins - bit more quality with our shooting and we could have won that. TSL hardly had a save to make..
-
Tough game that. Salford were the better team. Hands up if you are still pissed off with Billy. He might have made a difference
-

He might have made a difference on Saturday too.
-
Thought we were poor there. Nervy, tired and lacking composure. But it may well be a massive point in 3 weeks time.
This team isn't filling me with confidence though.
-
More grey hairs. I expected Adelakun to spoil the party. And he nearly did. It was a must not lose game . And so it was .
-
bloody rubbish, Rovers....disappointing effort against distinctly average opponents - time added-on especially poor
You seem to be being far more negative than everyone else
-
I’m ok with a point. We absolutely have to find a way to win our next 2 though now
-
I'll take a point against a decent outfit but that Robinson is an absolute b*llend!
-
Two wide players who believe that no body else on field by them get ball and want to shoot and miss. Crew was better than Kelly who runs down blind alleys. We had no composure in front of goal after Street scored. Let’s see who’s fit for Friday. But Crew should start instead of Kelly
-
Take the point, great effort wise, but for a side going for 2nd place it was powder puff in the last third.
-
We had to win today. Leaves us with to much to do over the next 4 games, 3 of which are against very difficult teams and the other against a team we'll probably draw against.
-

Not sure I agree. We should beat Tranmere. Grant will go for it now, and it’s a game we really should win. Colchester at home isn’t the most difficult game. Bradford aren’t world beaters. Definitely a game we can win
-
Battled well but not really good enough tonight. Thought Salford were ok. Still fancy us to nick an automatic place.
-
For me the next 2 games are more difficult than the last 2 when you factor in the schedule
-

It’s irony.

No we didn’t

Colchester have picked up more points than us in the second half of the season and have only lost 1 away game in that time.
-
We've picked up 11 points from the last 7 games, now we're heading into a run that's potentially tougher than those 7 and some, mainly dickos reckon we'll still be fine.
-

Maybe we will be, it may well help us. We are still the same side that beat Bradford and port vale away comfortably.
-

It’s irony.
not really - in the context of the season as a whole it may be considered nothing worse than an average to moderately good performance, but given what was at stake, I think it was a real disappointment - lack of real urgency, lack of compete in the middle third, no real idea of what to do to make a difference from those on the pitch or on the sidelines; 'bloody rubbish' is obviously far too strong a criticism, but I've been saying that for over 25 years or more and don't see any good reason to stop just yet ;)
-
I don’t get the doom and gloom. We knew this run of 4 games in 9 days was going to be tough. We are half way through that and have probably played the 2 toughest games in this run. IF we can find the energy and get enough of our good players on the pitch I still fancy us to win the next 2.
That would leave us on 78 points with a potential decided at home to Bradford. Got to stay positive now, that’s all we can do as fans.
-
Get in. And Harrogate have just levelled also
-
Carlisle winning lol
-
We're playing Tranmere today mate, not Salford.
