For simplicity – Walsall lose next Saturday and we're up regardless of any other scoreline. The tricky bit is winning the whole damn show and the permutations for that are still with NASA.

I think it's going to to go the last game still. Walsall as bad a run as they are on are playing one of the most useless sides I've seen and at home.

I watched the first half of the Newport / Walsall game Saturday and Newport looked like the worst team I've seen in years but still managed to draw.

I remember spending a lot of time on Excel several seasons in succession when we were in the Championship working on permutations of this kind. Thank you people for doing all the work this time. I just hope they’ll reach League 1 this time and give us a tilt at the Championship before I depart this world!

Accrington still need a point to be sure safety, they will be fighting for their EFL lives, don’t expect them to roll over for Wallsall, I their game will end in a draw.

Not really - the last 5 games were an anti climax for sure, but we’d smashed all the rest at 2ppg and 2 goals per game as far as I can remember.

Agree it was a pretty shit end to the year, probably helped by the fact we expected to walk League Two.
Note: Fergie stayed one year after, we finished 15th in League One.

Perhaps we don’t like one horse races. Currently as it stands with just 2 games left, 4 teams can win the title and 6 still have a chance of automatic. The top of lg2 and bottom of championship is where all the excitement is… and we’re right in the thick of it…bring it on

For me, it would be nice to win the title but all I want is promotion, I can’t sit and watch another season of teams plonking 10 men behind the ball every week!
