Won three league games in a row all 3-0? I predict this will happen on Saturday against Bradford, I’ve got records for past 12 years and we haven’t in that time. I’m sure we did it sometime in the early 2000s
-
I'd take 1-0 now.
-
I can see Bradford scoring but I'll take 3-1
-
2 - 0 for me, with fingers crossed of course!
-
No idea how people are so confident. I'm bricking it!
-
Scuffed shot, someone's arse, off the post and a trickle over the line for 1-0 in the 94th minute

Perfect

Rovers 2-1. Sharp winner late on.
-
Rovers 3-2.
Sharp to come on and score a brace.

Closest I’ve found was Jan 2017 where Rovers won 3-1 in 3 consecutive games, and the 4th game v Yeovil ended 3-0 to Rovers. So scored 3 goals 4 matches on the bounce.

that was the year we were promoted from L2, good omen

All I’ve thought about is that Bradford will come and beat us, and it will go down to last day. Think I’m just scarred from the recent failings in front of big crowds or big away followings!
-
I think it’s nailed on to go to the last game. I’d be happy with a point but 3 would be biblical. A defeat I would go straight home and climb under the covers. These are meant to be the moments we live for as football league supporters but right now I don’t know if mid table finishes are actually underrated!

Good point with the second sentence, Fal. This is exactly why we're only giving them 1500 tickets. Yet there are still people on here saying we should have given them the full 3000 just to make a few bob.
They only gave us 1500 tickets at their huge ground, and now they're whining about our "breeze block stadium", and our "petty club".
B*ll*cks to the lot of them.

One nil, off Billy sharps arse in the 97th minute.
Mind you, I don’t think my ticker would cope with the riot that would ensue.

I had a look at this in a bit more detail, since moving to the Keepmoat/Eco Power at the start of 2007 we have had exactly 100 games with attendances of over 10000. In those games are record is,
Played 100
Won 31
Drawn 23
Lost 46
Those figures in themselves are not that bad but when you look at the record for the latest 29 games from 2014 to today,
Played 29
Won 7
Drawn 3
Lost 19
So we do seem to have a thing with big crowds, big expectations!
If ever a time was right to even up the score its got to be tomorrow!
-
I’ve had a horrible feeling for some time that rovers fate will come down to the last day.
Oh shit!
ROVCON 2.

Cheers for the stats, wonder our record is against teams with 3000 away fans. Can only think of Grimsby in recent memory last season of winning these matches!

I can see both sides of this. Perhaps I'm being pessimistic, but I just hope the animosity does not result in the game being abandoned due to trouble with Rovers on course for a comfortable win. The stewardship needs to be spot on, as does the control of the situation outside the ground.

Famously in 1982 we had a run of games at Belle Vue which ended 6-3, 6-1, 7-5 might not be the correct order but it certainly whetted the appetite of John Helm the Calebdar news sports anchor as he said “the place to be for goals is Belle Vue, Doncaster”. The camera crews came down and obviously the game finished goalless.

Sorry to be pedantic, Branton, but it was 3-6, as we got pumped by a Wigan side that included Larry Lloyd and Archie Gemmel.
-
Also the next home game after that didn't finish goalless.
It continued the goal spree and finished 4-4, against Brentford.
-
6-1, 7-5, 3-6, 4-4.. Exeter. Reading, Wigan, Brentford. In that order.
-
We have still not had a victory having gone behind this season, it'll be nerve shredding if it's tomorrow, but we're due !!!
-
Today is crying out for another Copps speech. That'd make the difference.
