First listen, the chorus (also used as the intro) is very very good, and more than catchy enough to be sung in the stands.
I hope it catches on.
-
I think I know what the away fans will sing afterwards:
“I wanna go home………..” etc.
-
Great effort should be sung loud and proud.
-
Dreadful

Dreadful
Cheer up mate we might be getting promoted today

Hope it catches on, it's quality

Not sure personally, I need another listen or two.
On an aside, How's the Owen Bailey sing go? After "oh-o-oh, we've got Owen Bailey" ?
-
IF and only IF this is put out correctly it will catch on.
IF the decision is this will be our song, going forward....
Now some people don't already like it, maybe it will grow on them.
Some people don't just want to hear the microphone guy blab on for 20 minutes talking about it, some will switch off.
You can see the story I'm creating here.
It's about getting the message over to as much as 100% market as you can.
So get a stage out have the guy sing, some focus, and short intro from the microphone guy.
On the screen in the corner a close up love, the words what ever it will be.
Now one access we may still have and it is a big one.
Louis Tomlinson singing it in the ground, on socials, in a rovers shirt before the game and through the week. On the news.
Not only will the song pick up popularity but also as a brand and awareness of Doncaster and Doncaster Rovers.
I'm sure they I have plans, but for me personally this type of song WILL bring the supports and the club closer together.
If you feel the passion like I do for the club and many I know do and do far far far more than me for the club. No doubt you can feel it. It's the words, it's about us.
My grandson supports Arsenal, Managed to get tickets to take him against Chelsea. Now I don't care about Arsenal one bit. But when you are sat in 60k of supporters singing this type of song from the heart. WOW, I got emotional.
It's bigger than a song, well done to the lad.
Ask yourself one question, if Arsenal fans heard that song and it wasn't about them, they would say it is shit. Now they all have a song about them, takes them closer to their beloved club, their home and people around it.
It's bigger than a song and it's tone, it's melody his voice.
It's all us, together!

Quite liked it when it was first on here however think it’s a drag now
-
Fair play to the guy who wrote this, he obviously put a lot of thought and work into its creation.
However I can’t see it becoming our pre match song.
-
Just the chorus
-
Bov-reeel
Sa-a-dayy
It's this new style of singing that grates on me.
If it was sung normally it might not be bad .

The "club style" remix is excellent

Vic Reeves? Now that would catch on hahaha
-
Not for me, a bit cheesey if I’m honest
-
Liked the concept but lyrics are shoe horned into the track. Feels overdone. Quite like parts of it but its not very easily listened to.
-
I applaud anyone who can write their own songs. Something very few people can do. However, we don’t all like the same stuff. And it’s not for me. At all. Making me toes curl. The singer doesn’t sound like anyone from Donny I know.

Agreed he needs to shut up at least five minutes before kick off. The crowd were making some good noise on Monday but he kept going on

Yep, I said the same on Monday.
Let the fans take over a few minutes before kick off.
-
Cringe AF. The song not the match day MC.
-
These speakers aren't great they're using
-
I’m not a fan of the lyrics or the way it is sung.
-
But you’re good with the rest.

Not really, I don’t think I have heard many, if any, Doncastrians speak the way the singer does.
