Made my day they did!:
“The only positive thing I can say is...Doncaster were a pleasure to watch”
“Donny were just a yard quicker and wanted it more all over the pitch.”
“They are champions with best away record for a reason we found that out today we were chasing shadows and second to every ball.”

Not bad, eh?

There was a couple of county fans that waited at the junction near the ground, they applauded us and wished us luck in league one.

Nice one, Jimmy!

That's a nice touch proper footy fans - I can only wish County all the best going forward
-
At the end of the game when their fans were exiting the stand behind the goal next to us, quite a few of them were offering a thumbs up or applauding us.
Quite a nice gesture really.

I spoke to them as well Jimmy, well done to them.
Also spoke to a family leaving the car park and told them they’d smash the play-offs!

Proper ‘footie fans’ hound & as much as I want our club to go as far as it can through the divisions, I know for sure those sort of gestures become further afield.
It’s what you ‘leave behind’ but should never forget as hopefully we go onwards & upwards.

Had a few drinks with a group of county fans after the game at the craft beer place at Nottingham station. All of them were complimentary and wished us well. Likewise, I hope they go up at Wembley & will be a pleasure to play them next year. Not just so me and my best mate can have our annual trip to hooters, but it helps!

I pulled in at Trowell Services on the M1on the way back after the game. 2 coaches of Hull fans arrived at the same time. Not one of them congratulated us on winning the league. Probably still a bit salty after dumping them out of the FA Cup.

f**k Hull

That's what I said in a rather loud voice.

"Donny's been celebrating all week but they made us look like we'd been on the p*ss"

What a difference! The last game I saw live was that Boxing Day horror show at Meadow Lane, where the only player that resembled a professional footballer was Jamie Sterry
Today that ghost was put well and truly to bed.
What a team, what a manager.
And what a pass from Sterry and what a 2nd goal from Street…. Straight out of the premiership.

Probably still saying The Plane Boss, Theeee Plane.

Quality support from then yesterday 15k in. I'd rather go back there next season than the other 3.
-
They have a very tidy set up there. Proper ground with proper stands and five minutes walk from city centre. That and Valley Parade are models of what we need to protect in the game.

Probably glad they don’t have to,play us next season.

When we finally left the ground went in the club shop as my lad collects pin badges of where we’ve watched Rovers. The guy in there was brilliant very complimentary about Rovers did say County have dropped off massively too.
As a side note - what a stupid kick off time for the play off 8pm Saturday
-
To the county fans who stayed and watched us celebrate fair play. Not a chance on earth I would have that in me. Brilliant from them.

Some tried to stay to the side of us, but their stewards cleared them out
-
Worst stewards I’ve encountered this season - great to see Mayfield dressed as a gnome lol
-
Maybe your experience but not ours, many of them were very friendly and were doing their best to make sure they were not blocking our view.
Given they were having to deal with many drunken rovers fans who had no concern for the safety of others, what do you expect.
We go in numbers, create the atmosphere which is widely considered by home fans to be tremendous, and widely appreciated by our team.
Yet we have some who are so drunk, so out of their heads, they see nothing of the game but just spoil it for others.
-
Fair comment Nimmo but the ones on the entrance to our block were a bit heavy handed to the point they weren’t even going to let my lad in with his glass of coke (might add we never asked for it in a cup) also watched the head steward take an inflatable trophy off a lad
-
People were wanting to do the usual sit where you want thing to be with mates but stewards were refusing entry to the blocks if your ticket had the wrong zone on it.
Luckily enough it was a piece of cake to walk up to the back row and there was a gap through a sloping girder that people could just walk through.
I didn’t hear anyone complaining that someone else was in their seat.
-
Two 40 odd blokes near me had a bit of fisticuffs before the game, one got took away and the other took away 10 minutes later after telling anyone that would listen that he had been punched on the nose
Two you g Stone Island knobs got took away at half time after spending the whole first half trying to get over the netting to the Notts fans
-
There were a few of our fans asking for bother yesterday.
-
Some young kid got kicked out at half time for been sick in the toilet

I bet he was on our train on the way there.

What happened after the game coppers dragged someone out

I thought it was a medical emergency, but i’m guessing fans were holding the kid down whilst shouting for police to come and grab him?
