Amazing to see 2 seasons running we went undefeated in the last 11 games!

Have just been looking at this. Prior to the last two seasons our longest unbeaten run ins to the end of a league seasons were:
8: 1937-38 (W5, D3) and 1981-82 (W2, D6)
6: 1933-34 (W5, D1)
5: 1967-68 (W2, D3), 1969-70 (W3, D2) and 1980-81 (W3, D2)
These have been completely blown out of the water 2 years in a row - last season 12: W10, D2 and this season 11: W6, D5
Interestingly the only season above (except this year) which ended in a promotion was 1980-81 under Billy Bremner
Even in our stupendous 1946-47 season (W33, D6, L3) one of those three losses was in the fifth game before the end of season at Millmoor.

And it should be noted that seven of the eleven unbeaten games were against teams in the top half of the division.
With 22 goals scored and only nine conceded which eventually gave us the best goal difference in the division.
