Wonder what will happen with them. Might struggle for takers for them.

Have a feeling GM might try and use Close next season. Suspect he will look to move Hurst on as I dont think he fancies him at all for some reason.

Assume Close had a game on Saturday but he was at the event today (I note he didn’t appear to have a medal, thought he would have done enough to get one with 7 appearances. Wonder if Fleming got one)
Currently in the Sal doing the pub quiz with Sbarra and Molyneux :D

Has Westbrooke got another year too?
Looking at the players under contract you’d actively try to move Close on and then Hurst/Westbrooke/Sbarra you’d wait and seen on who we bring in and decide but they are likely to be available.
Of the out of contract players it’s Olowu as a must sign then a decision on Anderson and maybe offer Lawlor another year as number 2.
Not many hard decisions this summer it’s a simple one for Grant where he can concentrate on incomings and the Olowu deal.

Good God I hope not , overated on the ball and useless out of possession

I have a feeling we will find out pretty quick who will stay or go. Grant likes business done quick, and I imagine this will be part of the reason behind the faster than originally expected fan reception.

Grant gave an interview recently saying he rated Westbrooke, although his appearance stats and the fact two loanees regularly feature before him don’t seem to back that up. Imagine if he had put away that 1-on-1 on Saturday and been the player to score the goal that put the title to bed!
Some tough decisions to make. Whether Sharp and Anderson are offered deals will really set the tone as to what incomings we can expect in the summer. I suspect if Olowu doesn’t sign (as most are anticipating) we may see more of big Tom.
