The Shithousery Final Boss….
What a signing he was, won’t see the likes of him again I’m sure.
What a career, touched the holy grail in all divisions.

Never scored against Donny though, admittedly he only played against us once!

He’s had some career.

Vardy is playing against Wednesday for the first time tonight.
Apparently he was released as a 16 year old as he "had problems" and went to Stocksbridge Steels
Mark Smith an X Wednesday player on the build up to tonight's match said
" Vardy would over-run the ball so he could kick the full-back"
-- as soon as he said that the Radio Sheffield radio link dropped out
I expect his batteries will be "charged up" for tonight
strange but true -statements made like that you don't forget

How different that timeline is where we stumped up the £400k to sign him from Halifax during the SOD days.
A remarkable player to be sure.
-
Incredible that he finished with such 'rounded-up' numbers: his 200th goal on his 500th appearance.
I often thought he would leave Leicester for one of the so-called top clubs, but credit to him for sticking with them.
-
After Leicester won the title Arsenal apparently made overtures but he decided to stay with The Foxes.
Playing on the shoulder of the last defender & out doing them for pace when that through ball came was his forte but his finishing was sublime.
He’s struggled in a poor Leicester team this season & that blistering pace has diminished somewhat, it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up now & at what level.
As has been said, a remarkable rise in playing levels in what still is an incredible career.
An interesting story to be told there as long as his wife doesn’t ghost write it.
-
I wonder whether he would consider playing L1 football for a South Yorkshire team which plays in red and white hoops.
-
Isn't he going to Wrexham? Sure I've seem thos somewhere.
-
He originally wanted to join blackpool but pool wouldnt pay the million he went for, bet they regret it now
-
Says he can still do it in the Prem
-
Can certainly do it in L1 then
-

Definitely some regret I imagine, but also think he would only be the player he is/was for Leicester because he matched their journey.
As they moved up he improved, in the same time Blackpool were on their way down.
Same goes for Copps, our journey matched his career at the start and end, hence the longevity.
-
Burnley might be a good option.

Vardys deplorable wife is flogging him to death with all the court fees I imagine. Poor lad getting shackled up with that.
