Title: Community Clothing
Post by: River Don on May 19, 2025, 09:00:44 am
This is a brand I like.

https://communityclothing.co.uk/

They are based in Blackburn and their ethos is to produce higher quality products that last. They source fabric in the UK, run it up in the UK. They are commited to locally sourced stuff

Despite that, they aren't super expensive, though you will be paying more than Primarni. But then it lasts

At the moment they are doing a crowdfunder, so you could become a shareholder in the business.

Had a few bits off them , had to send  the selvedge jeans back though for fit reasons which was disappointing as like the ethos

I got a rugby top but it has a drop shoulder I don't like, still, I kept it. It's a well made thing. I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying their stuff. I  will buy more from them in future.

Good article about them in The Guardian today.

They are part-owned by Patrick Grant who you might recognise from when your missus is watching that show on the telly about sewing.
