Best day of my life.
Didn't have too many beers before the match so I could remember the experience.
Good decision as it turned out!
What are your memories of the day?

The thing that struck me most was witnessing 50k Leeds fans leave the stadium in record time, they never in a thousand years thought that they would be doing the skulking out at the end.

Driving back home and passing all the Leeds Supporters coaches, lets just say they had plenty coming their way.

Frankly as good as it gets. I'm not sure if actually this peaked it for me and it's never quite been same since. To win THERE, against THEM,in a game of that magnitude in such a way as we did ,we could play real Madrid in champions League final and I don't think could mean as much.

Apart from me missing seeing the goal due to me still drinking my pint, it was a great day. When it seemed most of the country were Rovers fans at least for a day, we actually won at Wembley which is something I could only have dreamed of.

Never to be forgotten

A great day and memories tinged with sadness because of the 5 that went that day I am the only one still going. I have lost my son and a brother with my eldest brother now not well enough to go. The ironically thing is that the youngest one that went, my nephews son ended up as a Leeds fan some time later.
Still an unbelievable and probably unbeatable day though.

Simply the best footballing day of my life. To be able to say ive seen my team win at Wembley is as special as it gets. I will die a happy man! For us to beat Leeds is the cherry on the cake!

Without a shadow of a doubt, my best day of supporting us. Nearly 60 years of ups and downs - some of the downs were embarrassing but some of highs were magnificent. I’m not afraid to admit there were tears of joy streaming down my face after the final whistle - it was a mixture of pride, elation and relief.

I would like to think we could do it again, just for a few more new supporters to feel what I felt on that day.

I was just exhausted after the longest 45 mins of my life. I don't think it really sunk in until after we got home. Plus our post match celebrations were tainted by some Leeds fans spoiling for a fight on Wembley High Street.

The most joyous I felt (apart from Stoke) was our very next league match, our first in the Championship at Derby. That's when it really sunk in. I've never heard Rovers fans that loud before and I remember thinking, we're in with the big boys now, out footballing them and out singing them!

A truly remarkable day, first time we had seen rovers play at wembley, but also cannot think of another team we would have wanted to beat.
When we returned to the Travelodge at luton where we were staying on the sunday night the bar was rammed with rochdale and stockport fans, and almost every single one of them stood up and congratulated us on the win!

10 yards of netting separated us from the Leeds Fans, it was hilarious watching them all have a synchronised mental breakdown

Took annie and the kids who were 13 and 16.

The tube back was absolutely awful. We felt so threatened - the Leeds fans near us were a complete disgrace.

Yes, it was only a couple of dozen at the tube station and yes, not representative of the whole, but, it wasn’t the whole who were intimidating.

I will never ever forgive them.

Incredible how many ended up with tickets in our end and didn't even hide it

One on our bus with his son as we pulled away from the Keepmoat.

Tried to hide his allegiance but the lack of ‘colours’ gave him away.

Needless to say, he wasn’t in his seat on the way back to Donny!

Got off the bus stop at my usual stop, went to the garage/service station for some cigarettes, been stopped over 16 years now. A mini bus of Leeds fans pulled into the service station and a couple thought they would chase me over the A1 barrier, I knew where to run, they didn’t. Then a couple pints in the pub to celebrate, walked home singing

I had an earache that day, and my lad had a toothache, but thankfully, the result was the best placebo imaginable.

Mind you, he drove both ways, God bless him.

Watched it in the crown casino in Perth (my home at the time and the only place I can find showing it) surrounded by ‘Australian whites’ - found one other lad from Donny though who I still keep in touch with today. Magical night, although work was a challenge the next day!
