Reckon on Lincoln away

That'd be great, Phil, but with it being the first game of the season, and the stadium capacity just over 10000, I doubt that away tickets would make general sale.

Thought it was normally the 3 that come down play the 3 that came up, unless that has stopped now, and yes I know 4 come up from league 2

Plymouth away, nailed on.

Nice ground with hostile fans, but will combine well with a holiday in the South West. But don’t rely on the trains!

Brad City at home to get us off to a flier & yes, give them their full allocation.

One of the bigger budget/promotion favourites at home, before they’ve had chance to settle into a string of expected results.

I remember Colchester putting 7 past Norwich (away?) on opening day, before Norwich went on to win the title that season - with a quickly replaced manager - if my memory serves.!

There cannot have been a season in living memory with so many local derby games in the same league. Let’s see us be away at Plymouth on Boxing Day.

I notice that there could be a Friday night game for the first match (thanks to Sky), so there is a chance that our game whoever we play, may be moved to the 1st.

Would be perfect imo, or Luton. Get the away game out of the way before their team has time to gel! Good opportunity.

Nooooooo, think over the years I've only ever seen us beat them once, that crazy goal fest at Belle Vue, dreading playing them, proper bogey team.

Yep. If a team puts 7 past you, go and get their manager. That's what Norwich did, took Paul Lambert off Colchester 10 days after the drubbing, and went on to win the title.

It was similar to the reasons why JR approached and won over SOD.

Eddie Howe & James Hayter goalscorers, Brian Stock & John Spicer in midfield for them.

Bumping this is readiness for the fixture release.

Funny feeling we'll get one of the relegated teams, Cardiff, Plymouth or Luton, home or away.

Reading (H) is my prediction.

It looks a really tasty league this year.

Fancy us to finish above Rotherham for sure. They’ve just lost Humphreys to Port Vale not looking good for them.

I planned my holiday assuming the season started on the same weekend as last season, but the buggers have brought it forward a week.
Now I don’t get back until the week after Match 1, so this is definitely not the opener I’m hoping for!

Away at Plymouth would do nicely!

Laughed my cock off at the end of the season. Some bloke stormed on the pitch during that first day hammering, tore up his season ticket and chucked it at Bryan Gunn who was Norwich’s manager. Couldn’t help but think of the growing pains of regret of that ‘fan’ as the season went on and it just got better and better.
