Can't say I'm keen
-
I reyt like it.
-
I like it,but would have preferred more trim on the shorts to match top a bit.
Edit : The shorts do have a bit of trim, I didnt notice it in video
-
The design has the potential to be an absolute unreal kit and probably could have been one of my favorites but I think the material really let's it down and makes it look extremely cheap and almost tacky no from me
-
Nice, like that. Very early with the kit - get it in the shops before the summer hols please!
Good to see the lads having a bit of fun in the video and that Moly and Bailey are staying put!!
-
Looks good!
-
It mentions that navy is back, but I'm trying to recall when we had navy trim in the past.
-
I think it’s looks awful on first impressions. No idea where the navy comes from either. Not impressed really.
-
White shorts, good move!

Yes I thought the same R.E. quality, but sometimes it's better in the flesh, will have to wait and see.

The Navy might be a clue to the away kit.
-
Not sure I'm keen on the navy trim either but hey ho, overall it looks decent.
Love the video. Good fun! Reminds me of that one when Sbarra and Clifton learned to drive a bus, and Sbarra struggled to reach the pedals.

There are two kits on the shop website that have blue on them, the zigzag hoops from 1992 & the Donny free press one from 88/89
-
Didn't the league 2 home kit under Fergie have navy details on it? Think it was a fan designed one. Quite liked that one, think this one looks great, although as long as it's red and white hoops I'm usually on board with the home kit.
-
Didn't the Beazer Homes kit have blue trim as well?
-
Squad numbers announced too for those who are into that kind of thing. Bailey #4 and McGrath #6. Thought Sharp might fancy #9 but hopefully it’s being saved for someone Quality
-

Yes, was that the one with blue shorts, white socks, as worn by Carl Alford...that period. Doh!
-
Are we at risk of losing Owen Bailey to Emmerdale?
-
It’s already on sale - that’s great work to capture the excitement the lads have built up. Event in shop tomorrow and Saturday to buy the kit and have a picture with the trophy. Well done getting it out so quickly. It’s still May and we’re rocking our new hoops!
-

Byker Grove maybe!

Yeah no hoops

Would have preferred the full hoops.

I like the "stripe" sizing, bar the bottom looks shitly thin, especially with white shorts. The red boxed shoulders is too much. The extra micro "stripes" I like. The bold navy side panels are cool - would prefer black. But that back red panel is shite. Hoops please, even if broken by a thick side panel. 6/10

Is sharp not quality!?
-
Looks great to me. Might go down and buy mine tomorrow.
-
I think the navy has been brought in the match the sponsor? A few grumbled in the past when the sponsor hasn’t blended in too well.
I love the kit btw, best one in a while.

He’s certainly up my street.
-
I love it, best kit for a while. The sponsor looks good - better than the green eco power
-
Looks cheap, I’m sure is cheap, but not for fans @ £50. Blue “why that”
-
I’m not sure, but I certainly don’t hate it either. I think It’s maybe hard to make red and white stripes look classy. Maybe that’s just me, I always think it’s an average football kit and never anything more. ( by the way, it’s my clubs colours and I’m proud of that!)
That’s the one thing the Black away kit we had a couple of years ago, had in spades, it just looked the part on the players and fans.
I really like the white keepers kit,( that does have a classy look to it) but white on a keeper,? glad I’m not their parents washing that every Sunday and Wednesday.
-
Like it a lot. Pass Logistics sounds like a football stat. Score
-
I’ve stumbled on a question for the more knowledgeable fans that lurk on here.
I have mentioned White kits on a keeper part in jest, but does anyone know why traditionally keepers have worn green - was it grass stains? I’ve had a few at this point and could be talking absolute rubbish.
-
Nice kit.
Great video.

£40 for a shirt for a 6 year old always feels a lot. Tickets are 1/4 of the adult price and shirts 4/5 of the price.

It’s probably a contrast issue than a laundry one - kits usually red / white / blue back in the day so made the keeper stand out clearly - especially as they didn’t wear gloves back then
-
Yes, but for a tiny amount of clubs, no one really had green shirts (Plymouth.?) so to distinguish the goalie green made sense.
-
Can’t help but feel that in all the club does for us as supporters with ticket prices etc., the one thing it knows will sell is the ‘new cub shirt’. & the rest of the first team kit regardless of ages.
It’s an ‘easy hit’ of course but c’mon, do the prices really reflect the cost of the garment or indeed the unnecessary mark up the club asks its supporters to pay?

1999/2000

I have a memory of the Dutch keeper wearing white in the 74 World Cup. probably remember it for the novelty

Aside from the horrific apparition that was the hand drawn badge in 97/98, I couldn’t tell you one kit from the rest. Also maintain it is highly suspect to be wearing a replica shirt to the game if you are an adult.
-

Bit harsh...

I like the kit, it's good to see something a bit different which distinguishes it from the previous one.
And the video is brilliant!
-
Not keen. But will be buying home and away as per

Surely £40 is nothing.
Introduce your 6 year old to Tennis, Raquet £150 +. All the kit, more than £40, shoes for hard court/carpet/clay etc…. Come on, who’s got kids with trainers less than £40?
Just have a few less pints in the next week or so or don’t have kids, now that’s really cheap!

Fair comment, it was. My first reaction was against that bottom thin stripe and how it sat on the white shorts, but the overall kit is growing on me. It does have some very good features. I'll up it to a 7/10

On the topic of kits, Vales is a thing of beauty.
-
It's okay. The application of the branding has a bit of the Kappa about it. It's not Kappa though.
-
I must admit it looks better in person , bought it for my son yesterday £40 I know is a bit steep but he gets more than his moneys worth out of it practically sleeps in it , the blue looks nice on it but the toddler shirts have a round neck not collar and personally I think it looks better
-
I'm not a fan of collars on sports shirts, always puts me off tbh

Not really with The Rovers in mind .

Is there any news on when the away kit is due - any whispers on what it'll be?
-
Just been in the shop this morning and they’re not sure. They think it’ll not be long!

I had someone at work say that a picture got floated about of Sharp with a white and green shirt on but was swiftly taken down.
Not sure if was rubbish or not, but closest thing I've heard to anything at all on the away.

Yeah saw that, however the guy who put it on enjoys a good wind up so probably nothing in it.
-
Yes I saw that, assumed it was unofficial

So, like a kind of crop top then?
