Love to see us go for Khayon Edwards. 21 years old, 5ft 11 in, striker, just been released by Arsenal. Never played for the first team, but had seven games out on loan at Leyton Orient. Really good player.

Would we stand a chance of getting him?

Wellens may well get him.

Might be the case, with him already having previous with Orient. Would love us to sign him, I think he would do well.

He played 7 times in early 2024 for Orient - he was either replaced or came on as a late substitute - scored no goals and has only played twice in 24/25 season.... I'm not sure there will be a scramble for his signature.

Don't know if this lad is available but the one who impressed me the most in the division 2 who I watched more than a couple of times was the lad Fornah at Salford in positions in mid field we could improve.
Definitely a player I would be looking up the position of his contract or would he be loaned to a higher division if he was a loan at Salford.
Just looked out of contract that has not been renewed at Derby County.

Salford fans seem a bit hot or cold on Fornah - although he did have a good game against us. My only worry is that he seems to be stumbling down the divisions... Played in the Championship with Reading in 22/23 - then to Derby in League One 23/24... followed by Salford in League Two 24/25. He has played 120 league games though, so has some experience.... but maybe just needs guidance.

He bossed us Notts County and Colchester in games I watched near the end of the season.
