Signed on loan for 12 months officially on DRFC site

Ajayi
Potential in spades.

Decent interview after the elfsborg game.

Well taken goal in that game:

I’ve a feeling he’s going to be excellent for us!

He must have something about him to have been on the fringes of the senior squad at Spurs. Let's hope this one works out for everyone!
-
Great signing this, like the look of him!
-
No GM interview video released with the signing.......is there another one coming shortly today???

I know they've had injury problems throughout the season but like you say if he's been in and around the squad on match days he can't be no teacake can he?!
-
First loan in the men's game, could be great could be another Yeboah. Fingers crossed we have a gem here.

Sounds like a CB is nearly sorted.

Whilst its good to see faces arriving ready for pre-season, I’m still waiting for a number 9 to replace Street unless ive missed something.
-
Was expecting him to be a big tall snd imposing lad but he is only 5'9.. Whereas he could turn out to be the brilliant signing we have come to expect from GMC there is too little information to form an opinion until we see him.play. At 19 years he probably has some pace and maybe destined to be our super sub to bring on when the oppo is tiring.

Brandon Hanlon.
-
He will probably be with us for 6 months, he could be another yeboah and get sent back or he will be out of this world and Spurs will recall to be sent out to a higher team. Hope it’s the latter even for 6 months
-
Great to see another Spurs player coming to join us. The last one did rather well.
These lads need time and patience as they sometimes struggle to reconcile playing for the team when evert point counts and expressing themselves with the confidence to play freely.
He's going to face stiff competition for places across the front line so let's hope he's prepared to wait for his chance. Going on the pre season trip to Spain is really great for these lads to integrate. More often than not, our loanees tended to be signed after our pre season trips.

Is he an out & out striker? If so, my mistake.
Still think we need another mind you.

We've got 3 now. I very much doubt GM will go for another.
When the new CB comes in, that'll be 7 new signings, 5 of them permanent. The kitty can only go so far.

Like i said, still think we need another. I could see Ironside being moved on and Billy’s going to be a “bit part” player at his age.
-
Good luck to the lad, I hope he comes in and smashes the league up.
As with all young loanees we have had, you just never know what they will do, we never get any middle ground with them, they either look world beaters or Sunday league players well out of their depth. All we can do is support them and hope. GM hasn’t got too many wrong though so far.
-
A great signing, I had a look on YouTube, he looks sharp and able to take his chances. Fingers crossed it works out well for him and Rovers, he is so excited and enthusiastic in his interview. Just want we want, keen to learn and willing to work with the group.

Ajayi
Potential in spades.
What about in football?

Is he the groundskeeper’s new apprentice?

Message from Spurs ST holder:
People who know more than me were very keen to see him get more minutes last season. Scored a nice goal on debut in the Europa league group stage.
-
I think it’s great to have these younger players in before we meet up pre-season for a couple of days, they start to integrate within the squad, ‘learn’ who are the bulwark of the Rovers squad before they all head off to Spain for ‘warm weather training’ courtesy of our brilliant Chairman.
A good preseason integration.
-
That interview sounds like he is really exited to be coming here and wanting to make an impression.
I really hope he gets off to a good start with us and I’m also expecting him to be a hit.
-
Sounds like the target is winning the title again that’s the 2nd new signing to say it after TLT said it in his interview.
Looking forward to seeing him play sounds like he’s not lacking in confidence but knows he has hard work ahead of him and wants to come here and put in the graft and learn everything he can
-
Has a lot of potential, he can play either on the wing or up front. To be on the bench in a European final, tells you that Spurs rate him highly. It shows as a club we must have a good reputation for them to loan him to us.
-
I know it's his first loan so anything can happen.
But to be training with the likes of Son, Maddison and the physicality of Romero on a daily basis and then doing enough to get selected and some minutes there has got to be a serious player there.
I know it's only a clip but that goal on his debut is definitely above league 1 quality.

Maybe instead of back to back it’ll be known as an Ajayi-cent promotion?

Oh very good Nick!

An aspect to any attack minded players game that usually ticks a box and endears themselves to fans, is tracking back and getting tackles in. Working for the team.
It's a factor in how Gibson is perceived and is possibly why Hurst was farmed out on loan. For all the attacking intent they may have, fans will be more patient with them if they are seen to get 'stuck in'.

Isn’t it amazing that a player who was on the bench in a European Cup Final is coming to spend a season with the mighty Doncaster Rovers. I had to stop and take that in really.
Fabulous intentions from Rovers. Really hope the folk of Donny buy over 7,000 in season tickets, club deserve it.

Hopefully he is better and contributes more than the players we have had on loan jrom Spurs before Mason I think it was was ok the others did nothing, mostly out injured.

Have you forgot Matthew Craig?
Ryan Mason was much more than just “ok”.

Mason was brilliant, as was Matty Craig. Sterling less so. Just watched Ajayi’s interview, it’s impossible not to warm to his enthusiasm. This is a big step for him but let’s hope he proves ready for it. Seems a really likeable lad.

Alfie wasn't a tall lad and he did OK, sadly given away.
