I was just wondering if these players are far from donny where the hell do they stay ??? I hope not in hotels

Any ideas lads

Not sure but we used to get juicy rumours from someone at The Crown in Bawtry.

I would imagine it depends on the term time. We all know some have stayed in the Crown Hotel, but some also rent apartments, ( no idea if DRFC own some properties for this, it would probably make sense to though ) and some have stayed with contracted players in the past - I expect that is a good option for very young players..

A little known fact is clubs need families to home young players who maybe do not live close by to the club in some cases. This can happen from a quite young age 15-16, so imagine how tough that is for lads and lasses , moving from the family, going through GCSE/exams and trying to prove themselves, with a very low percentage chance it works out for them!

They used to use flats John Ryan owned corner of Bawtry road near Punch's

Sonny Aljofree would be my bet for the loan centre half, still to come in. The Crown at Beatty now also own Rossington hall.

I don’t know if it was house that the club owned but a few years back at least a couple of loan players were sharing a house in Bawtry

They had one there in the late 90s when i worked there. Imagine it would be the same one
