Would Brandon Williams, 24 years old, ex Man Utd be a decent option. He apparently went off the rails a bit, but could be a good signing for us. Played higher up the leagues, if his head is right could be good for both parties.
-
He’s at the very least a championship player. No way in a million years we could afford him.
-
Don't think McCann would touch him with a 10ft barge pole.
-
Luckily, we’ve got an 11ft one ;)
Has Hume gone anywhere?
-
Another pointless punt post

No chance. Dodgy character.

Bad apple, stay away

Maybe before we rush to judgement we might reflect on the pitfalls that face young men whose talent catapults them from obscurity to Premier League stardom.
Lots of temptations out there for young men with time on their hands & money to burn. He crashed his A3 into a stationary car while doing 99mph. Yes it could have ended in a tragedy, but it didn’t.
Perhaps the only tragedy now is that a clearly talented footballer hasn’t found a club.
He’s back in training & wants to play professionally.
Anyone who sits down & talks with him can make their own judgment on whether or not he’s turned the corner…….no pun intended.

Maybe he’ll sign for Salford City
-
The way people are taking here you’d think they had never made a mistake as a young person. You do know the adult brain isn’t fully developed until 25 years of age?

If we want an ex man united graduate who can play at left back I’d rather have Demetri Mitchell from Exeter, can also operate as a 10!
-
Another option Owen Dodgson, 22 years old, left back at Burnley. Could be a good loan deal. As at Burton on loan last year.
-
Another option stop posting

Just signed for Leyton Orient on a permanent deal.

Grimsby have confirmed that Hume is leaving although it looks like he’s going to Fleetwood

Gone to Hull City. Dangerous move for both parties I think.

He would be a very good player for us and with a great resale value,we all make mistakes in life, your postman ,milkman or the person in the shop serving you may all have done a lot worse but because it's not spread all over social media nobody cares

There could be a debate over what we might be short of, but I didn’t think that left back was an obvious weakness. Taking a risk in such circumstances would probably not be a sensible one.

We were weaker down the right today

Sterry likely back for Rotherham game.

You have to admire modern footballers playing in masks. I’m at an age which makes me rather fragile, but I’m not sure that I could have thrown myself into a match at this level so soon after such an injury.
